@mainstayer1 What she did was positively horrendous, but it's between her and God now. What good does it do to torment her and ruin her livelihood? The legal system decided to release her. Don't spread hate and intolerance. It's easy to get angry about violent crimes like this, but it's a mark of grace to forgive and treat people, even bad people, with love. Hope and the other girls didn't treat Shanda with love or mercy, but don't follow in their footsteps.

Out of all the four girls who were involved in Shanda's death, Toni and Melinda were the only ones who came from and abusive home and Laurie and Hope had came from a normal home. I don't remember Toni's sentence, but Hope was supposed to serve a lot more time than she actually did (which was 10 years). As for the other two, the only one who's not trying to get an early parole is Laurie. Melinda has tried to get a parrol several times. That's only one (and important) reason why Shanda's family keep reminding the public about this tragedy.

Out of all the four girls who were involved in Shanda's death, Toni and Melinda were the only ones who came from and abusive home and Laurie and Hope had came from a normal home. I watched this last night and I read Shanda Sharer's thing on Wikipedia. Thats how I found out Toni and Melinda came from troubled backgrounds and Laurie and Hope came from homes that weren't abused at all growning up at all.

I don't remember Toni's sentence, but Hope was supposed to serve a lot more time than she actually did (which was 10 years). As for the other two, the only one who's not trying to get an early parole is Laurie. Melinda has tried to get a parrol several times. That's only one (and important) reason why Shanda's family keep reminding the public about this tragedy.
