Is it bad if you have a memory of breast feeding. I don't even have a memory of diapers. Its probably for the best.It would be too weird if I could remember suckling on my mom's tit. I have pretty strong memories from 4.Around 3 is probably a better age to stop breast feeding. It should probably be prolonged somewhat because of the IQ studies,but some of these women are way to excessive. The drawings from those sisters creeped me out and the names and qualities they assigned the different tits.

More time to be nurtured?!!! They practically tweens, there is no need for them to be breastfed, it's very disturbing! I breastfed my girls for the first few months of their lives and they're just fine. And I also respected other people. If someone felt uncomfortable, I was discreet. I didn't give everyone a free show. There is nothing wrong with being discreet, which is more than I can say for some of these arrogant women.

My first fed the longest at 17 months, and I would have let her feed as long as she needed, however my milk became less as my second daughters birth neared. I do NOT think any age is too old as long as mother and child are comfortable. I dearly enjoyed breastfeeding and feel the bond with both my children is stronger because of it. Most people who disagree are ignorant of the experience I believe.CONGRATS MOTHERS WHO STAND UP FOR BREASTFEEDING

A child must be guided through early development and the changes are difficult. These extreme cases of extended breast feeding are selfish/weak mothers who cannot accept their child's growth. I hope that the children adjust well after these odd conditons. If you think your child knows when it should be weaned you are not mature enough to be a parent. Make the transitions in a timely manner give lots of love but say no. Its part of life and adjusting. Really the child will be better off.

IT's weird that the grandmother had the baby suckle off her, it's not like anything came out she wasn't getting anything from it.And it's crazy the husband likes to nurse too, ive never heard of a husband doing that. Also the girls seem really messed up, and confused about sexuality especially with the what is appropriate relationship with the their mom, and towards breast. I'm all for nursing for at least a year or two but after awhile it's time to stop!

Yeah...People that don't have a child or take a child as their first priority won't understand. If they don't understand it is because they just never got to experience parenthood yet or maybe never experience a close relationship with a loved one. I didn't understand it before I was older and a mom.I saw my friend breastfeed her toddler and I thought he looks really old to be doing that...I was an ignorant. haha.
