  • I have tried 4 sets of the D's and about 6 sets of Walsh in general. For a few days, they work and sound great, but they are way too susceptible to moisture, so unless you can invent a moisture and heat control system, you will have to play 3 or 4 tunes, and them open them and dry the reeds. I suggest a $2,000 professionally made set, sure they are very costly, but you'll get a lot more use out of them

  • I believe your tuning-method is perfectly legitimate, since there's actual (but a bit siily) products made for this:]

  • Hello, LOL

    Just would like to say

    after seeing yor display

I think I will probably buy

a set of Walsh small pipes.

    They sound realy nice!

Just a tip; Jim Mcgillivery has a web site that offers Tutoral materials.

His sight also alows you to

down load BP tunes & sheet music.

    Best of piping!

  • Hello,LOL

I have been debating on buying a set of Walsh pipes

    now I am sold!!!

    LOL :)

I have been playing the GHP for a while, and even bought a set of fire side pipes from a well known

pipe maker and got rid of the firesides shortly. They just did'nt sound so good.

But after seeing your display, I am defanetly

buying a set of fixing to buy a set.
