He brought his own interpreter, there was no U.S. soldier there, either, other than MacArthur. Macarthur even lit a cigarette for Hirohito, who was shaking and had trouble lighting it. Etc., etc., etc. It's all made up.
Why the really strange disconnected audio and manner of translating the dialog.?
