May she rest in eternal peace!

  • mul jäi seal vanavanavana onu ellu

  • my Friends die my friends name is : Jaan . R.I.P : ,(

  • Support and respect for my Estonian brothers.

  • @Killjoy45 Titanic had almost 3 hours!!!

  • first i thinked it was titanic

  • ei estonia voinut pelkän keulavisiirin takia upota. laivassa täytyi olla joku reikä

  • people who think that this ship sinking in 20 mins is better than the titanic sinking in 2 hours are crazy. whether you live or not being in that kind of hysteria for 2 hours is unfathomable. 20 minutes is horrible enough, but if i knew i was going to die, i'd rather it be sooner than later. the people on the titanic suffered longer which i personally think is worse.

  • @queerp But those people in Titanic had opportunity to save themselvs, only 134 people was rescued in Estonia accident, mainly from the water, and those were the lucky people, others just were shit scared in their cabins and drowned.

  • @elisei00 fuck you

  • @SuperRay0909 fuck estonia

  • @elisei00 fuck you

  • @svartsaft 852 souls lost their lives in this horrific event. Be respectful!

  • Hmmm i was on this ship like 2 weeks before it sank. i was almost 4 and the funny part is that (I know it sounds kind a titanicish but its true) i was on the highest deck and i was looking down and was terrified. Can you imagine what it feels to be on the big boat when you are so little. Anyways a cabin crew member came to me. She was tall and blonde.

  • But what she said to me has weirdly stayed in my mind. She said that "Don't worry, everything will be alraight. Look how big it is, trust me it won't sank" weir huh? I was only four but this picture is still on my mind...you can say it is fake and that i made it up, but i know it was real. My mom said it to me too, that it actually happened.

  • @StiinR

    e du svensk?

  • @LundaGrabben3 shutup estonian pig russia owns you

  • @elisei00

are you always that mad? did you forgot taking your pills today or what happened?

  • It's also wery sad that the Swedish goverment didn't aloved to recover the dead people or the wrack.

  • @MsBalticStar

Well I don't think it was that easy to do that.

And its an old say that those who gone down in the ocean, should be left with the sea.

  • my grandmother knew a person who was on the Estonia disaster.

he came in the lifeboat but froze to death

  • Dude, just open your ears, then you can easyli hear what he is saying, how hard can it be, stupid!

  • Why do they have to use a song that resembles the Titanic song? It seems that every sinking of a ship will be married to this type of music, although I think it fits well and I like it...just wondering and not criticizing anything here.

  • we have a statue to remember those who died. it was sad to see them die. :(

  • estonia boat

  • Paskasti suunniteltu keula

  • @MrStubai o

  • Sad, so sad.

  • My teacher was supposed to go on Estonia that night, but the day before, she felt ill and stayed home. Her illness saved her life!

  • my dad die there :(

  • Out of a total of 989 passengers and crew on board 138 were rescued alive but one died later in the hospital.[1] The accident claimed 852 lives (501 Swedes, 285 Estonians, 17 Latvians, 10 Finns and 44 people of other nationalities: 1 from Belarus, 1 from Canada, 1 from France, 1 from the Netherlands, 1 from Nigeria, 1 from Ukraine, 1 from United Kingdom, 2 from Morocco, 3 from Lithuania, 5 from Denmark, 6 from Norway, 10 from Germany, 11 from Russia), by drowning and hypothermia.

  • @MsBalticStar

One could of course say 138 lives were saved, as one of the estonian crew members was pregnant.

  • very sad video...... R.I.P. Estonia.....we never forget you....

  • Such a disgrace. They should have recovered the bodies. R.I.P.

  • @funkyalfonso Well rcovering the bodies from the ship would have been very difficult

  • Why was this made by the UK navy? :)

  • THIS IS THE WORST BOAT ACCIDENT EVER!!!

THERE WAS ALMOST ONLY SWEDISH PEOPLE THERE!!

  • @Ottostl so?

  • @Ottostl "SO"?

haven't u seen the swedish womens?

  • @Ottostl no no there were many many many estonians on it !!!!!

  • @HeJakeLong that's bad too, but it was only estonians and swedish on it.

  • I don´t know why, but I am really sorry for the crewmember who said: Mayday, mayday, Estonia, please! Guess because I am estonian and he said "palun" so sadly.

  • i was only 9 years old when i heard about this, i went down to eat some breakfast and my dad dropped his cop of coffee when he heard the news on the radio. i remember i got a stomach ache cause i knew my best friend and her family was on the ship. it´s so weird i remember everything about that day, how i felt, what people said and even what clothes i was wearing. sending my thoughts to those who lost someone in that awful accident. how come boat accidents are most likely to occure in the night?

  • I have ride with Estonia once when her name was M/S Wasa King on the rute Umeå-Wasa(1991-1992).

A big factor of the high fatality of the people that made it out of the ship is the wet clothes even if you are out of the water, water/wet clothes makes you lose body temperature 25 times faster then air.

A realy sad event that maby could have been avoided if the captain had use some common sense insted of worrying of the scheduling :(

  • My grandmother´s sister´s daughter died there... R.I.P.

  • I remember this like it was yesterday... So sad.....

  • I would've wanted to dive in there. Just to see the horryfying details, families being locked in their cabin rooms, people crushed under vending machines etc. It'd be horryfying, sad and mindblowing, yet fascinating to explore all this.

Don't get me wrong, I respect every victim and their sad stories. It just fascinates me in a way.

  • My mom's sister were on that boat, but she survived.

  • @zenya123 good for you :) i mean it

  • Vga kahju neist inimestest ja lastest:S

  • @speakers11223 mul suri sõber seal jaan ja ma olen kurb ikka :(

  • Eks toi tapahtunut itämerellä?

  • @OneFinnishGuy Kyllä.

  • @OneFinnishGuy

Tyynellä valtamerellä. Estonia oli lievästi poissa kurssiltaan

  • i was one of the passangers on the ship but i made it out alive. it was a living nightmare

  • täiega jube ju kui selline asi juhtuks sinu endaga... tegelt tänu estoniale ja titanicule ja muudele uppunud laevadele on praegused laevad ennast suht täiendanud ja paremaks tehtud et nad ei upuks...

  • my relative died in that ship :S:S:S ;(

  • @riskoish I am so sorry. It was terrible. I hate when things like that happen.

  • @TheMammu91 yeah...

  • urmas alender was wery great singer of estonia,he died in there :( RIP

  • R.I.P Poor peapole

  • This disaster took our best male singer Urmas Alender :( Rest In Peace all who died

  • i'm from Estonia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • what a hell is that ?

  • huh i live in estonia

  • @siim686 me too :D

  • so good song : )

  • this is real my grantad was there and died

  • You know what...? Why don't you leave out the music, so we can actually hear what the narrator is saying... Huh...? Is that too much to ask...

    What a waste of time....

  • @RunningSwimmingMan

Then buy the movie. If you want to watch the movie... watch the actual movie.

  • @RunningSwimmingMan Why don't you STFU? Who needs a narrator anyway?! There are no words..just look at those photos and clips..they are enough to tell you a story that will haunt you for the rest of your life.

  • @airplane763

    no, Estonia did in 1994

  • @airplane763 lol, she's laid up now...

  • that titanic song

  • Titanic had almost 2 hours.

This ship had only little over 20 minutes

  • @Killjoy45 Yes, 20-30 mins

  • @Killjoy45

The Empress of Ireland only had 14 minutes or so. Some boats have sunk really fast depending on how they were damage.

  • @Killjoy45 Titanic had more than 2 hours! but a ship called centaur had 3 minutes

  • imelik et just kuulsad laevad on ära upund

    need uhked titanic ja estonia

  • ma arvan et nad sellepärast kuulsad ongi

  • @badman240498 titanic ja estonia said ju kuulsaks peale uppumist:/ rip

  • I live in estonia and on that boat was my best friends grandma and she died :'(

  • thats terrible :(

  • The ship wich sank very fast in 24 minutes.

    And nearly 1000 killed.

  • faster than titanic

  • The truth will set us free...someday...hope so :(

  • yes i hope :(

Everybody really believe in the official story, but if you take all the pieces together they will understand that it was a terroristic action...

  • R.I.P... Somebody knows the truth and the truth is that estonia got blow up..

  • Who blew the ship up, and why would they do that??

I think it's a disgrace that the Swedish government never allowed the bodies to be recovered. Seems a little strange...^ ^

  • i still cant understsand if NATO s ships were really near at that time why didnt they get their and help?

  • @janar17 sest estonia uppus liiga kiiresti!

  • My mom sayd : ´´this night is very very scary´´,.she don´t sleep this night :S

  • ya you to

  • If there's no conspiracy, so why the governments of Sweden, Finland and Estonia are hiding the so called "secret files of the Estonia"?

  • if they are secret , how do you know those files excist anyway ? . the fact is that Swedish goverment was transporting russian military to the west , they have said that they did it . but after reading memories of the people who surivived i believe atleast 75% of the official statement

  • @tyrklane Yes well. i heard that most of the survivors mysteriously died after or before giving a report.

  • My father died on estonia.I live in Estonia

  • My mother lost two nearly friends who was female aboard the ferry.

  • RIP

  • Estonias big star Urmas Alender was on that boat and he did die under the water :((((((((

  • Estonia is good boat

  • @sampeesti not IS , It was ;(

  • To think of the amount of water that leaked onto the car deck was minimal, but still had such a huge effect. =/

  • Well, how little water is needed to give a ship the extra momentum that leads to more water leaking in, that is.

  • @Zeldakitteh it wasnt minimalits a ro-ro car deck so there are no waterproof walls between the deck!its just a 1 big room :D R.I.P

  • R.I.P.

  • @TheEGEG Kiss my ass !! you stupid guy

  • whats the name of the movie

  • does it matter.... boat sank, almost 1000 people died.... worst accident after titanic... boat name was Estonia.

  • R.I.P Urmas Alender - the real Estonian superstar

  • Comment removed

  • Alot of my moms friends died there.

    R.I.P

  • what's the name of the song? i really want to know it!

  • 28th September 1994... My own birthday. </3

  • It wasn't weapon's action, cause explosion makes high pressure and it will inevitable deform a covering. But there is no small pieces in next day video and even MS Estonia laying in the bottom very symmetric.

If some crime was there, it's only cargo door's weakening to make sinking faster, but there is no any proof.

  • täst tais just tulla 15-vuotta :o

  • 28 September 1994

    15 Years

    RIP

  • 28 september 1994.. Sel õhtul sündisin ka mina.

  • traagiline p2ev!:(

  • What's the latest on the "investigation?" Although this incident is older, I haven't heard of such a blatant national coverup of a major catastrophe since 9/11 here in America. Our day of darkness was covered up by our government as well.

  • Nothing new. They will not investigate again. We know the trooth but the officila report stands. they are fucking bastards

  • Puhake rahus.

  • @kevinkink no aga palun õpi enne inglis keel selgeks :D

  • Why can't anyone here speak English?

  • because the ship was with estonian flag and most of them who are mowed by it are fron estonia swinnland or finnland

  • swinnland? u mean Sweden? I'm Swedish myself...

  • sorry I wrote fast but with misstakes really sorry!!

  • Thats Not nice!

  • Mom's friend was there and survived. Story that she told was awfull. How small child's were crying alone in the cabin hall and how many people just couldn't get out. She sayd that sometimes she still wakes up in middle of the night because of the screams that she heard on that day. Awfull death's, luckly we learn from the history.

  • very good video!
