Does this require the program MAX to work? Or does it just automatically sync with the monome? I am having trouble connecting to the monochrome plugin. I am however using an ipad with a midi app that has an 8x8 monome table for the time being until I get a real 128 but I cant get the plugin to recognize the device even though it is connected to my computer and I can use other midi controllers such as pianos. I am using fl studio. Is molar/monochrome not compatible with fl studio?
Hey man, I'm really digging these videos, thanks for posting. I'm actually considering a 128h purely on the strength of these. Been looking for a visual grid type controller for drums and what not for a while now, and not all of us can afford a Octopus, know what I mean?
Do you know if his will work with the 128h in the same way?
not sure why people are giving you thumbs down... in my opinion that's a compliment as the FL piano roll is one of the best, in my opinion, sequencer for making loops.

128 will work the exact same way and in fact will work with the existing plugin showing. (just less rows for different sounds of course).
