there's always storytelling at the shows, until people start nodding off. 8^)

The song was reflects on situations where I was really trying to get a relationship going with someone who "wasn't over what the last guy did to her."

"No really... there ARE nice guys out there - I'm one of them!"

That kind of stuff, and how there's no way to tell someone "let's just be friends" without hurting them.

Of course, the ending could be interpreted several ways... obsessive? or patient? 8^)

Great lyrics - I can be one of those "stonewall(s)" ladies at times, so they really hit home (in a reflective/good way).

I'm curious to know what brought this song about (the time elapsed between now and its inception notwithstanding) - any chance there's a Fran Snyder "Storytellers" coming up at one of the shows?
