not bad for a beginner, which i'm assuming you are. you need some up and down action... take a look trhough the animator's survival kit by richard williams or the illusion of life by frank thomas and ollie johnston. even if you don't like disney style animation, all the info you need for any walk/run/trot cycle is there! good luck!

I do it with GIMP, and layers, if you use the layers correctly you can see that you can do an animation ( Sorry I can't explain, I'm really bad at it! XD )

He has one wing because I was too lazy to do the other one! XD XD

Thanks ! First I watched an animation of a horse running, to see how the paw moves, then I drew Spyro with about 20 layers. I did it totally randomnly,I did it because I was bored, but it turned out better than I expected, so I added colors and erased the cirlces used as doodles. Sorry if it doesn't help a lot, I'm bad for explaining ^^"

It's a kind of smiley, it shows a smiling people, the " 8 " is used as two eyes, the " D " is used as a mouth.
