my japanese internet connection works fine, so i put 3.90 firmware on my memory stick and downloaded it to both my english and japanese psp, but for some reason only my english psp has GO! messenger and my japanese one hasn't, i have tried to update my psp again to get it but it wont work does anyone know why?

update it to 3.90 but if you update it on the old version you will only get Go! messenger and not skype because of RAM issues. you need PSP slim and lite for skype. I have both LOL

to people who don't know how to read: SKYPE is only for psp slim when you download the 3.90 update. As for phat, It's GO!Mesenger. Both work in Australia.
