  • hey guys, want to hear a joke, Chinese airforce.

  • the worst thing that they do is call tom clancy. he is a very bad person

  • For all those who commented on what I said... I just want to say how wonderful it is to finally have a cogent, rational debate without any namecalling or saying how one nation will destroy the other. It is refreshing and more of these types of conversations are really needed on YouTube.

Sure we don't all agree and are very passionate about the fighter jet we like: naturally we want our nation's jet to be the best. In the end, these are all very destructive war machines that are meant to kill.

  • This video is pathetic, they assume that enemy fighters will have stone age avionics and missiles and that 'stealth' technology will make F22 or F35 really invisible, that may be the case to a country with poor defense program, and above all it fails to consider fake target drone tactics which can fool all the latest Russian and US aircraft... into firing their missiles on fake targets that appear as real planes on their radars...

  • Poor us who are not AMERICANS .... What nonsense, bullshit and lies ....20years no one will have a stelth plane....yeah.... Russian andChines all ready have a stelth planes....and some lessons....you showed your stealth when the Serbs shot down 99th f-117....you americans are just how shoud i say.....STUPID!

  • According to Battlefield 3 logic... lol i joke

  • @ Megalondon64

I had exactly the same idea with active radar; or can active radar be stealth too? May be just short micro radar emission signal bursts, so that the active radar is harder to detect ...

    other ideas:

the Russian developed a plasma stealth system; this system reminds me more of an active stealth system as the plasma forms a kind of water drop around the plane, deflecting incoming radar signals, regardless of their bandwith ....

  • @pierre7427 nothing is really 100% invisible, especially at shorter range, even plasma technology cannot hide the heat signature of the exhaust gases, even if you defeat all radio signals you still leave a heat signature.

  • Comment removed

  • Wait. I thought turning on your radar will make you visible on radar. The F-117 didn't have a radar because it would give is locaton to the enemy. How does this work on the F-22?

  • isnt the f22 jsut the old name of the f35?

  • @rubikfan1 Nope. You could see the F-35 as the Cheaper, smaller version of the F-22, plus, with VTOL and Carrier capable versions. Sadly, to make it lighter and cheaper, they took ECM and Fire extinguisher off the plane.

  • @rubikfan1 F22 is the Fighter Air Supeiority Plane...... F35 is the Fighter Bomber Electronical Warfare..... Plane ^_^

  • on the moment those weapon bays open they are visible, and I have seen serveral sources of russian missiles and american ones. And you almsot never get 1 shot 1 kill so. I bet you guys need to look from both sides.

  • Seriously thanks so much for uploading this!

  • F-22 raptors against SU-30 MKIs ? Mirages and Sukhois going in to assist Mig-29s ? Are the gaming against the IAF, for only it has this peculiar mix of aircraft !

  • If someone "allegedly" worked on both the systems for both F-22 and JSF and can compare them from real experience in a professional stance to that of the Russian equivalients.... US 0 Russia 1.

  • B-1R=BONER? Someone in Boeing's having a laugh

  • @LtSpiteful hey dude i just looked it up today and i did not believe it ether but it actually exists

  • Stupid American audience is fucked-up on beer and reefer.

  • lol ripping on the best fighter in the world??? really.. look at history.. american fighters have always been superior in the skies...

  • The Truth About the Useless F-35 & F-22 video watch. I am an American and I know we have meet our match, with Russia and China. Don't fool yourself. We are about to have our clocks cleaned, from a combined effort.

  • US invended stealth tecnology in 60s SR-71!

  • @L4s the sr71 is not a stealth aircraft, its for high speed flight

  • @L4ss That's a wrong source. A british pilot in World War II had the idea to cover his plane in aluminum, so that way he wouldn't be detected. German anti-air artillery didn't know which side to shoot first.

  • @L4ss The SR-71 was not stealthy it just went higher than any other plane and a lot faster to. It was not stealthy.

  • @hunter4760 actually it was steathly about 70% more steathly than the others dispite its service ceiling... its Body is covered by special Tiles almost like the B2... thats why its black just like the B2... and its cross section is a lot smaller...Thats why its hard for Radar and Observers to Find it... thats why it is stealthly

  • @L4ss That wasn't properly stealth. They used systems to slightly reduce Radar Cross Section, but it mainly relied on speed and altitude to avoid interception.

  • @L4ss germans had stealth before that in the form of U-boats which was around in WW2, no 1 country came up with the stealth we have today but it was several ideas from several different countries that lead to what we have today. there were also stealthy aircraft before the SR-71 like the mosquito and and british vulcan bomber. Earlier stealthy planes are the horten 229 from 1941 i believe, the idea was stolen by americans and used in the B2 bomber to create a stealth aircraft

  • I hate Tom Clancy.

  • For all you F-22 haters... do you honestly think that the US Air Force is going to disclose all the capabilities of the F-22? So, you may think that the Raptor sucks, but you're only basing your reasoning on what you read and see on TV . You nor I have all the facts on how capable the F-22 really is. In my opinion, the J-20 and the T-50 will be kitty chow in front of the Raptor.

  • @Amar7605 the SU-50 is the only current stealth fighter worthly enough to tackle the F-22.there both exellent in there own way's though the J-20 isnt china's only stealth fighter, you have to be stupid to make somthing that horriblly stealthy.

  • @Amar7605

CAN U EXPLAIN WHY F\A 22 RAPTOR IS CANCELLED BY PREZ. BARRACK OBAMA???

  • @devastatermir372 Aside from the Democratic Party general policy of downsizing the military, based on 250:1 kill ratios that the F/A-22 has been tested at, all 187 F/A-22s would be able to destroy 46,750 aircraft before the entire fleet is lost. In contrast, the next three largest air forces (Russia, China, and India) have a combined total of 7500 aircraft, which includes fighters, bombers, transports, and helicopters in all service branches. The F/A-22 fleet could decimate all three air forces.

  • @devastatermir372 1) The Raptor is too costly at $150,000,000+ apiece plus maintenance and upgrades (block 3.2 software upgrades cost >$100 million per plane 2) U.S. government would rather spend money on technologies that the public as of yet knows nothing about like the "sixth generation fighter" with directed energy weapons or X-37 space vehicle 3) U.S. military does not believe that Sukhoi PAK FA or Chengdu J-20 will be serious threats to the Raptor.

  • @ogdocvato the US will probably feel the threats of the PAK FA or J-20 and other developing 5th gen fighters in the future if they were to be purchased by countries like Iran, where there are tensions between them and the US, there could be more countries devoloping top secret fighters that no one even knows about.

  • @ogdocvato

but, don't u think that these so called sixth GEN fighter are gonna b VERY F!@#$ing expensive??? i mean, come on man, TIE FIGHTERS WITH LASERS DONT COME CHEAP......... :-D

  • @devastatermir372 You are absolutely correct! The US military is facing budget cuts more severe than at any time since prior to December 7, 1941. Nevertheless, even after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, the United Stated military spending remained massively inflated and is currently $670.9 billion for 2012 not including more than $70 billion in the Department of Energy's 2012 budget for the research, development, and production of modern nuclear weapons.

  • @ogdocvato You must have ment a threat in ten or 15 years when we also has hundreds or F-35's. Right. Come on.

  • @Amar7605 As far as I know, Su-46 berkut surpasses F-22 at several aspects. Read it up.

  • @kazekage0001 The biggest drawback of the Su-47 is that Russia is not inclined to produce it as a frontline fighter. Only 4 prototype demonstrators have been built since 2000. Moreover, while the forward-swept wing has several advantages, the main disadvantage is that the wing limits the top speed. The max speed is Mach 1.6, which is even slower than the F/A-18 Super Hornet. By contrast, the F/A-22 can supercruise at Mach 1.9. And the Raptor is just as maneuverable if not more.

  • @Amar7605

I think su 47 maneuverability can make up for the slow speed, infact, the slower the better. it is not a racing game. Both of them are stealth fighters, both of them can target each other with BVR missiles, but when it comes to dogfighting from a short difference, they don't need high speed, they need agility and the ability to evade missiles & line up behind eachother.

  • @kazekage0001 Dude, you need high speed (energy) to maintain maneuverability. Its not ace combat. The tighter the turn, the more airspeed you bleed. The more airspeed you bleed, the closer to the critical angle of attack you approach. Especially at low speeds. If you're in a dogfight and you're trying to yank and bank at low speeds, you can't turn and you can't climb. You get "hung up" and become a sitting duck, just dangling on the verge of a stall. The only thing you can do is die.

  • @Amar7605 besides, if i remember correctly, the su 47 berkut can fly higher than F22, which is a considerable advantage as well.

  • @kazekage0001 There is no berkut and never will be. Nuff said.

  • I hate it that all these videos about dogfighting are making propaganda to America and its allies, aka israel and the rest. Fuck that, we want real storylines & real historic facts.

  • @Amar7605 Apparently Congress disagrees with you.

They capped production because the difference in capability to the F35 wasn't enough to justify cost. The russian PAK FA is a F22 equivalent that will outnumber it 8-1.

  • @LtSpiteful Sorry but which of my comments were you referring to?

  • @Amar7605 I don't think F-22 is bad. But in our times, a "Pure Interceptor" (It has really low A/G capabilities, if you want i can produce facts about it.) is not an option.

Plus, its avionics dates back at least to 90's. Some of its components risk to be soon outdated. I'm not saying that it's a bad aircraft. Simply, they took 30 years to develop it, build it, and field it. In cold war scenario, that was the commander's dream. Now it simply costs too much, and it's not practical.

  • @ElementoVolatile TruthFully they F22 is still on the cutting edge... the project is just delayed due to the Cold War and the B2 project.... they make the B2 first because the B52 StatroFotress i Think.... Cant Go deep enemy lines to drop the Nuclear, Hydrogen or Atomic Bomb.... due to Massive Surface to Air Missle in the Soviet Russia just in case Russia will declare War.... and besides F15 in those days in still in the Cutting Edge of the technology..... ^_^

  • @Amar7605 Bro you are so damn right XD

  • @Amar7605 Just a couple of points, 1) There's no such thing as 100% invisible aircraft, all these metamaterials do is absorb a part of the radiation, effectively only SHORTENING the radar's effective range, the only promising technology is active plasma shield, which is yet to be seen. 2) Russians (and Chinese) spy on everything within US, the nature of US industry is easier to infiltrate than the Russian industry, remember Robert Hanssen

  • @Amar7605 Now beyond the sales pitch of aircraft manufacturers, most countries that are serious about war employ fake target techniques, not making something invisible but just creating 10-15 more fake identical traces on the enemy's radar, I can assure you that ANY aircraft Russian/US can be fooled VERY easily with fake target technology because it's very cheap, I don't see great necessity for investing in anything more than F-16 and similar cheap and easy to custom-upgrade

  • @VERGIS92 You're probably right. Saudi Arabia, for example, just agreed to purchase F-15s, a 40-year-old tried-and-true aircraft. Iraq will be recieving F-16s. And when you think about it, war between nuclear powers aren't going to happen. The more realistic wars will be what we've seen in Iraq and Afghanistan, where it was all about urban warfare. Neither an F-22, PAK-FA, J-20, or Cessna 150 will be able to infiltrate a building.

  • forget everything else and refer to history... WW2... german tanks were superior in pretty much all aspects... however the allies had more numbers.. the germans were pretty much run over.... and thats what will probably happen in a REAL battle.. lets just hope it never happens.

  • @Niteguy705 WRONG, armored combat if FAR different from aerial combat.. there are plenty of documented american air victories in vietnam and later conflicts against great odds, in exercises raptors have been pitted against much greater numbers of older AF aircraft, the pilots that get killed say that they never even knew the raptor was there... the IAF, who fly the SU-30MKI similar to to the SU-30s here were absolutely humiliated by USAF F-22s at Cope India in 12 v 3 fights

  • sound so horrible, but program so cool

  • I would rather see a FB23 then a B1R but thats just me

  • By the way, optical sensers are "PASSIVE" also. As for thrust... Air Combat on the Military Channel and host Maj. Paul "Max" Moga came right out and said that the F119 produces "37,000 lbs." of thrust. Me, I'm praying for 39,000 lbs.

  • propoganda doesn't win wars preparation does. stealth concept is Russian and americans used to develop f 117, b2. a pentagon official invited India mod for JSF program calling Russian industries old age, uncompetetive. but we know DAD is always dad and son is always a son, rejected f 35 participation this (program is failure)and 70 era crap tech f 16 and f18 . f 16 block 52,60 looks like tadpole and having RCS like a jumbo jet.

    long live freedom!!!!!!!

  • @rawatsanjaysingh09

Your right about the U.S. getting the stealth idea from the Russ, but the reason India said no to the JSF is we didn't want to give them access to the computer codes. They also wanted to have production rights. Full production of thier own aircraft. Not going to happen. Isreal said the same, but we made a deal with them. We don't yet trust India. I'm with "Fighterfanboy", you should try reading up on things before you open you scull cave.

  • good propaganda! don't underestimate ur enemy f -117 was thought invincible but serbs shot it, other nations are buliding stealth too and so instead of making this funny videos train ur raptor pilots for dogfights (close combats)otherwise 187craptors are gonna cost u very much.

  • hah what an idiotic scenario arrogant Americans. guys we have j 20's, T-50, and other nations building stealth aircraft and believe me they are equal in performance to this f22 craptor sry raptor. Americans always think there tech is supreme they never fought withc apable oponent . they can only bomb n korea, afghanistan, iraq and plunder thier resources .

A corporation built by killing 20 million red indians ,no culture no values BRIC nations will crush america. . . relax economically.

  • Next on Future Dogfights : Watch as we pit our new F35 vs an angry boyscout with a slingshot.

    Yay america we beat them.

  • do they still show it??

  • typical americans, comparing a 5th gen with a 4th gen. this show is so biased, if you want facts dont watch this

  • russian made gear that includes chinese copies has always performed poorly against the western counterparts ALLWAYS no matter how much spin they put on their garbage ,untried or otherwise

  • Hello people! The F-22 has AN/ALQ-94. It is a passive sensor connected to 30-some apertures on the airframe. Many on the wing edges. AN/ALQ-94 can track targets at about 300 mi. If you make a noise, your dead. One Raptor will fly with radar off and have his buddy 20 mi. back send him targets via secure uplink. The fun don't stop till the missiles and gas do. If you go to war agenst F-22 you had better start with more aircraft than the 22's have missiles. Good luck.

  • @Fighterfanboy dude wth!!! when a f22 is gonna track his enemy, his enemy will be alerted due early warning system. tracing always require some sort of energy medium laser, radio wave or optical and EW suites can detect these . so he will take evasive action to break the lock ,the point is he cannot see f22 till its in visual range and in that score will be settled by guns up close and personal. 4 gen still has chance against 5 gen in case of dogfight and close combat.

  • @rawatsanjaysingh09

Hello, ah, dude. Websters dictionary. Passive=A: relating to the detection of an object through its emission of energy or sound. B : not active or operating : inert. C: existing or occurring without being active, open, or direct.

Passive. Look it up DUDE! Read up on the Raptor and AN/ALQ-94. You could learn something. Reading is cool. Try it. The point of AN/ALQ-94 is to get a passive lock. Passive! DUH! FFB

  • that's bullshit...they compare the F-22 raptor with the mig-29? :| the mig-29 it's equal with the F-15 !!! why won't they compare the f -22 with the mig 35 ....or the latest chinese jet fighter the J-20?

  • the raptors lose stealth capability when they open the weaponbays.

  • @12354573 they remain open for only a split second, not enough time to aquire a lock

  • when F22 turn on Radar, is it still stealth?

  • @AmPeaceInHeart yes its radar can aquire target data before the enemy has a chance to track it, it can also aquire 100 targets at a range of over 150 miles

  • @packr72 Really? according to what you said, then F22's radar cannot give out tracks of target continuously, because its radar seems broadcast signals discretely. However, it still gives out signals, which can be received by the enemy devices. So once its radar on, it is not stealth.

  • @AmPeaceInHeart its not that simple, with the stealth features and the design, the plane has almost no rcs, the enemy will not be able to tell whether ist friend or foe, and plus if you able to track its radar back, its probally to late, the raptor has already aquired you and the missile is on its way, the chance of anyone getting a long range lock onto the raptor by using its radar against it are slim to none

  • @AmPeaceInHeart AESA radar allows aircraft to broadcast powerful radar signals while remaining steathly , aesa radars constantly change there frequnencies with every pulse making it almost impossible to track, plus in the vicinity of an awacs, radar isnt needed

  • F-22 vs J-20 or PAK FA would be a nice dogfight. Only heat seeking missiles and guns =)

  • Thrust vectoring = not a "I win" button

    Stealth = not a "I win" button

  • To all you fucker saying "THIS IS BAIST!" Or, "THE F22 CAN'T DO THAT!" GO FUCK YOURSELF! You have NO fucking clue what the F22 is capable of!

  • @haters123 and either do you.

  • @TheLloydA1 I don't judge on what the F22 can and can't do, and I don't say "that can't really happen"

  • @haters123 nice name

  • @lolcatjunior Thank you, it was a thing back when I was young and I came up with this name for a game I used to play, I didn't hate, but it was easy as fuck to remember.

  • like they even know thats really going to happen, f-22 just owns all

  • @firefight987 Yeah, even other F22's. After all, the Americans are the masters of friendly fire. Then again, it's hard to fight a war when you're broke. How long now until the US is declared a thrid world country?

  • Bulshid

  • I can't resist: "It's Starscream!"

  • What I dont get is this.....

The F-22 must be using radar of some kind to lock onto the MIG's.

Cant the MIG's lock anti-radiation missles onto the signal emiited by the Raptors radar?

Also, isnt the Raptors air to ground capability minimal

Memo to the USA - dont give up your F-18's just yet!!!

  • @ToonandBBfan well its an air dominance fighter, but it can carry JDAMs and small diameter bombs, the raptors radar basically can quickly aquire targets limiting the chance that the radar beam can be detected

  • and the program is... cancelled.

188 raptor on the wall,... 187 raptor on the wall.

  • The man at 00:42 looks like a pig, I barely stopped myself from vomitting!!!

  • @MrGabam he is tom clancy you fuck! show some respect!

  • @coldplaylover1 "You fuck!", Yes, I fuck my friend. I fuck people like you. And where was the disrespect there, I just described what I saw.

  • It sucks..........american propaganda...

  • this video is very much like indian air force vs american air force.. did cope india 2004 and red flag 2008 dent the pride of american airforce ??? looks like it here.. completely biased but i believe F-22 and american air force is better than IAF

  • I'm not a big fan of tom clancy

  • how bout we stop posting about whats grounded and whats coming out in the Air Force. OPSEC people

  • Comment removed

  • Y'know with recent events (development of the Silent Eagle, Growth Hornet, PAK-FA, J-20, J-18, not to mention the cost overruns on F-35 , the cutting of the F-22's production numbers and the grounding of the F-22 fleet) they really should update this episode.

...And let's not even mention the existing 'flaws' apparent in this particular episode.

  • F-22, Su-35, Su-37, F-15, MiG-35, Su-47, F/A-18, and the F-35 are all GREAT FIGHTERS.

If they dont get used in war, thats a GOOD THING.

no one on here was ever involved in building, designing or flying any of these aircraft, so nobody on here can talk about which one is better, or that the stealth doesnt work, or the missiles are shit, or any idiotic comments like that.

  • I agree the F/A-18E/F is definectly one of the best Heavy Fighters. Its equal to the Su-35 with the exception that the Super Hornet has two pilots, which is an advantage.

  • 1 of the most strongest fighter jet is the f-22 raptor

  • @pouj4000

I have no doubt the F-22 is a great fighter!

Too bad it costs 339 Million a unit.

Too bad it has stealth that doesnt work.

Too bad it can be breached and shot-down by Small Arms.

Too bad it has never been used in war even though it's been around sisnce 2002.

Too bad that when the Time comes when missiles will become ineffective the F-22 will really be in the Shit, when it has tocome in close and use guns.

    "Yeah it's a great fighter"

  • @MARTINELECA okay you wanna go against me, i know the 2 best planes are the super hornet and f-22

  • @MARTINELECA the f22 costs 142 million a unit, the stealth works fine, plus even if it wasnt stealth it has almost no rcs, it is not vulnerable to rifle, and ground fire, its a godamn plane built to go mach 2.25 plus and have a service ceiling of 70,000 feet and over 39,000 lbs of thrust, plus it can take an incredible number of gs, it is far from a weak airframe. the f22 entered service in 2005, to late to be of use in iraq or afganistan, and it has a gun and aim9 sidewinders for dogfighting

  • Even the super-expensive missiles wont be able to be used because each plane can carry up to 5 conventional countermeasures, not including its AESA Radars and if the Pilot was competent enough he would jam and escape any missile fired at him.

Like a great pilot from the Vietnam War said "The Missile can be tricked but the Gun never"

  • If the F-22 does so badly imgaine how the F-35 is doing

  • Stealth that trully works and conseals the airplane doesnt and will never exist!

There are a lot of Radars that can break the Stealth! So you just breach your security with these expensive and useless programs.

  • @MARTINELECA I agree. I think stealth is oversold. Back around 1990 or so I read an article about a switch that some radar tech had invented that could be fitted to existing radar sets and greatly improved radar's ability to detect stealth. It costed only a few bucks to make. That story disappeared real quick and I never saw it again--no doubt covered up. I think RCS as a design consideration is here to stay, but improved detection technology will largely negate the advantage of stealth.

  • I actualy fully support America! Im from Bulgaria and we are allies!

But why do you waste money for shit! You have about 8000 F15s in your arsenal which are more than capable of defeating the Flankers or the chinese JH-7. All the new fighters like the F-22,F-35,PAK FA,J-20, Eurofighter Typhoon,Rafale... are specifically ment to cost a lot of money in peace time! But when the real fight starts noeone will use them because they are too expensive and not in any way better than standart Fighters!

  • Biased video is biased

  • But...that first scenario wasn't a dogfight.

Also the Dassault Rafael being widely exported? It is to LAUGH.

  • At 4:43,that isn't a dogfight,they just shot missiles and killed them all,at a distance,idiots.

  • Hey,you know when the warnings ''Blare'' in the mig cockpits and they see 2 planes blow up beside them? WHY DON'T THEY FUCKING MOVE?

  • DOCUMENTRY ON F-35 JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER PART 1

F22 Raptor Exposed - Why the F22 Was Cancelled

Watch all of these and you'll see what Im talking about!

  • @MARTINELECA

all those videos you point to are posted by the same person who is clearly a russian plane fanatic. People like that always post videos putting down american fighters and a worshiping russian ones.

I do agree however, that the f-35 is a disaster. It is a perfect example of what is wrong with the american defense industry.

But the f22 raptor is anything but useless. If the f-35 program was cancelled more money would be free to go to upgrading the raptor program.

  • @TheProjektcc Oh and by the way i doubt that PIerre Sprey is a russian plane fanatic! He just tellls the truth, now how about that.

  • @MARTINELECA Somebody hates America...

  • @MARTINELECA Watch f-22 wp report = incorrect

and watch. Debunking: ((((The Truth About Useless F-35 & F-22))))

You fucking idiot. f-22 and f-35 are the best.

  • The F-35 is the shittyest plane to ever fly. It has too small wings, so it can't turn well. It has only one engine, so it can't supercruise for long. It can't carry a lot of bombs. It gausles too much fuel, so it can't stay in the Air for long. It's skin can be penetrated by Assault Rifles, so bullets can ignite the huge reservoir it has, settin the whole plane ablaze. It just sucks! The Pentagon, USAF, USMC and Navy don't wan't but Congress does because it costs a lot of money!

  • @MARTINELECA its a bloody joint strike fighter, its supposed to do everything decently and be more cost effective and its defiantly the perfect plane for the marines and countries with small carriers ( being much more advanced then the harrier ) just saying the F-35 is not specialized so thats why it doesn't do every thing the best but the thing is it can do almost every thing

  • Why wasn't the fight fought in the Silmulation during a rainy day? Because the Raptor's so-advanced Radar-absorbing skin melts away in the rain like sugar.

Why were there only 4 Raptors? Because the others need another 30 Hours of maintenance on the ground after a 1 hour flight. That bastard Gates killed the F-22 to save money! But two days later announced the development of the F-35, an even more shitty plane. Adlist the Raptor has good engines and big wings. So it has some chance in Combat.

  • I really feel sorry for all the guys that have been tricked to believing all this C R A P.

And I hate the damn money-suckin batards from Lokheed Martin that make the tricking and even more i hate the assholes from the Congress that othorise it!

The future of air combat won't be anything like its shown here. The Su-30 has a powerful enough Radar to brake the Stealth of the Raptor and enough countermeasures to decoy any Missile the Raptor fires. The future Air Combat belongs to Guns!

  • 6: 00 the only hope is a secret future weapon.. that might not be so secret now that its on TV

  • okay this is really bugging me, the Rafael is independent if the Mirage series, its Dassault Rafael, not Mirage Rafael

  • To bad the F-22's projection is about the same as the Su-47. :(

  • Well I wonder who the Raptors will face on June 20, 2016

  • imagine that USAF roundel in a russian fighter and Russian AF roundel on a american jets?

  • @MacbethSquadron yeah and they both fight for China O_o

  • i prefer the old classic dogfight where you don't have to worry about a missile killing you from 15 miles or whatever i personally like the fighter vs fighter than technology vs technology.

  • @Marineboy1935 Damn right!

  • This simulation is sucks. Most of the time and modern day. The aircraft would be pair with 2 to 4 aircrafts not 24. LOL

  • @f50koenigg its not a simulation, its a movie with Bruce Willis in Raptor

  • where is the begining of the episode where it explains whats going on ?

  • Lets put the Pak Fa and J-20 and ATD-X in this match up :)

  • I think the history channel need to make another DOGFIGHT OF THE FUTURE video because the russians/china has made new aircraft after this videos was made

  • too biased documentary. As I expect from USA that they are not having the mentality of "over-talking" usually. but in this documentary they are just shamelessly doing same as the soviet union did. I had seen the "space race". I must appreciate British over American here. this documentary seems like "a propaganda advertisement" not a real documentary.

  • The F-117 was NOT the first stealth aircraft

  • @ThatAdelaideGuy it was the first stealth attack aircraft in service

  • and who let tom clancy make this video.

  • why it always some country atack american civil airplane and starts a war against USA if it always backward situation?? from all these kind of videos i see that USA is a country of paranoid people. Why the goverment bullying you all the time? )))

  • wait wait wait i thought they cancelled the f-22 project because of its costs

  • @frankthesasquatch no they cancelled it because obama is a bitch

  • @MBJCHIEN i thought they cancelled it because they are ridiculously expensive and the only nations that pose a real threat to the usaf at the moment are armed with ancient migs (see middle east). Lets be honest china and russia are developing 5th gen aircraft but i dont see a war with them any time. In the meantime, the f15 can do the job perfectly fine for a hell of a lot less cash

  • @Conwaya321 aaand maybe that too...but obama's still a bitch

  • @Conwaya321 You realise how old a lot of those F-15 airframes are, right? And how expensive it is to give them the required multiple refurbishments? And how aircraft like the newest versions of the Sukhois, which can reach parity against it if flown competently, are being sold by Russia/China to just about any third world country which can afford them? Because saying the F-15 is "perfectly fine" in light of that seems a bit inaccurate. :)

  • F-22 is a capable plane sure, F-35 is just a huge scam, stealth + a flying brick(the plane) for huge costs for America's trusted allies (like Britain).

F-35 are not even delivered, eurofighters are already bombing Libya. You cant bomb Qaddafi with dollar payments to Lockheed, you need actual capable fighter planes and bombs :)

America won't export F-22 even to loyal allies, so in the end if NATO allies want to have actual stealth with performance, it should be domestic or combined project

  • sweet dreams ......................

  • Jizz in mah pentz.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLloydA1 You wont ever see a f22 on a british super carriers. More like a Eurofighter typhoon which is a english italian german spanish jet fighter :). The closest thing to a raptor the Europeans will have is the f35 stealth joint strike fighter.

  • @GKris1989 Yeah i got the f-22 and the f-35 mixed up,there was going to be a typhoon carrier version but decided on the f-35.

  • So B-1R is not stealthy, but can fly high into enemy territory no ground radar picked them up, or picked up and not bothered to tell their pilots or launch SAM missile against them. get with in 80KM for AIM-120 firring range fire their missile without the SU-30, Rafale knowing that they are there or not bother to launch counter volley.

  • Furthermore speeds above mach 2 create extreme heat in the airplane's skin. While the titanium components in the engines can take high temps, the bismalemide composite materials in the F-22's fuselage and wings will not withstand speeds above mach 2 for more than a few minutes.

  • Why do they need pilots?

  • Hey is everyone posting been involved in the decision, planning or the making of the F-22 Raptor? or even flew a Raptor? If not, Stop writing about the things you don't have a clue about. GO USAF!!!

  • @5xthejoy Amen! They don't know jack shit. It's specifications are CLASSIFIED. It has flown up to Mach 2.54 on less than 90% afterburner. While being flown by a former Joint Chief of Staff, Gen. John Jumper. They don't risk JCS on testing top speed!

I would not be surprised if this aircraft beats Mach 3 in the next 5 years. Also has the highest recorded service altitude of any Fighter in history.

    Specs are CLASSIFIED!

  • @newmanfrigan Agreed. I believe the Raptor can hit Mach 3 and better, with a sleek body and 70,000 lbs of Thrust. F-15's can hit Mach 2.5 w/AB @ 38 to 42,000 lbs of Thrust. F-22's can hit Mach 1.8 without afterburners. But you right Specs are Classified. USAF got these guys writing shit, like a chicken without a head. LOL

  • @5xthejoy You need to talk to an aeronautical engineer who is well versed in the science of fluid dynamics. Top speed is not only dependent upon thrust but upon the airflow characteristics into the engines and over the control surfaces at speeds beyond mach 1. The F-22 designers had to trade top speed aerodynamic characteristics for ultra-low radar cross section. Bottom line = top speed less than Mach 2.5.

  • I think Mach3 is alittle to fast 4 this aircraft. The sweep on the wings would not be great enough for such fast speed flight, plus you would have to be at 55,000ft+ to try and even achieve that kind of speed(above the ceiling hight). The amount of extra thrust to go from 1.8 to 2.2 mach alone is upwards of 60% extra fuel in the reheat to gain .4 of a Mach, then it would be unrealistic to remain combat effective for an air supority fighter burning that fuel flow and at those heights to do 3mach

  • @subzerostorm Yes. BUT.... What if these guys figured it out. My guess is the military is WAYYY ahead of any thought or way of thinking. I hope they are, which would be awesome for us. I wish, I wish. LOL

  • @subzerostorm It probably can hit mach 3 and I wouldnt be suprised, the usaf doesnt publicly announce the raptors top speed probably to keep the advantage of the unknown in combat. But with the super cruise i've heard of a top speed of 1.6 mach without after burner. Regardless the raptor will be king of the skys for about another 20 years!
