I think that it's very very wise how this series decided not to show any of the events in the Garden of Eden. It's supposed to be such a place so beautiful that nobody could imagine, and also, I doubt that the 'serpent' was just a talking snake. The way this series is made leaves all before to the imagination of the viewer.
