Alright. I don't know about Raven, but I've read My Immortal start to finish and I think it is quite plain that Tara Gilesbe is a "poser" who is making a sad, futile attempt at being "goffik". The only things that would make her remotely "goffik" are the many, many bands that she mentions, (My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, Marylin Manson, etc.) half of which I don't think are goffik at all. (Simple Plan, Nirvana, The Beatles, etc.) In fact, according to the abomination of the english
language that My Immortal is, the only social groups in existance are "goffs" "preps" and "posers", and anything that Tara Gilesbe likes is "goffik" while anything she hates is "preppy". So yes, I will leave actual goths and emos alone, but I will not spare Tara Gilesbe. (If this comment ends up at the top it is all supposed to be a reply to Swordkillz.)
Omg, I cried at the end. She got to be with Draco... and man, she's just so realateable. I love how she's the only one in her "LA highschool" who had hair that wasnt blonde. Thats amazing. and how she remembers that her paents killed themselves when she was two. She's got one hell of a memory. And man, the drama. Epic. She's be Raped, AND Estranged, what a life. But in the end (a totally conculsive and not abrupt ending at all!) she found friends and true love. I wish MY life was like that!
