I think, people who always want to be at the top, cant be very happy. When are they satisfied?
But I am happy, have no single worry. I love my work, my family. I have a house, a car. everything I need. What else do i want? I am nothing but a failure, I have a very succesfull life. And if you think different ( by reading one sentence ), and react the way you do. I can see you cannot be very happy!

Its good my expectation isnt that high. If I can make a person live longer without pain and enjoying his moments, that means to me a very big thing.

@snowyday2010 Most oil producing Arab countries also have no income tax, as well as free education and medical care. Having lived in that part of the world for most of my life, I wouldn't say people are living in poverty.. but there's definitely a huge gap between the wealthiest and the not so wealthy. For the most part, the expat workers from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh are far more impoverished than even the lowest income Arab locals. Even then, they're earning enough to live and send home.

@2153Oliver You're totally right, I went to Abu Dhabi and Dubai 2 years ago, and there was huge labour camps full of Indian,s Pakistani' etc working for buttons to send home to their families, whilst working on building sites with no scaffolding erected to prevent them from falling off skycrapers being built. The poorest Arab nation would have to be the Yemen, it's on par with a third world country in most parts.

As far as modesty is concerned, I don't think Europeans especially the French and Italians folow your taste preferences. You may not like that color of gold because it does not look good on pale skin. Yellow gold looks great on melinated skin.
