After the War is an album by Irish rock guitarist Gary Moore, released in 1989. Like Moore's prior album Wild Frontier, this album contains elements of his celtic roots.
The track "Led Clones" with Ozzy Osbourne on lead vocals, pokes fun at bands such as Kingdom Come and Whitesnake who were quite popular at the time and were based on a Led Zeppelin type sound and image. Moore again pays tribute to the memory of his long time friend and colleague Phil Lynott with the song "Blood of Emeralds".
yes i saw him in 1979 at bradford with lizzy . i saw him 2 weeks ago in leeds he was rubbish he just played for his self . he never introduced the band and they swore at the crowd, i have seen him 4 times but that was the last, everyone was playing hell. All the best from yorkshire
Actually I think it's more of a case of Gary wanting somebody to just play the songs as they are - Cozy had a tendency to improvise and throw little extra bits in. Gary said this in an interview I read somewhere
I remember cozy and gary on the friday rock show with tommy vance a week before the tour started...cozy was actually the one who wanted to do the songs as they were recoded....gary was joking, begging him to do a drum solo on the tour....they are supposed to have had an altercation leaving the studio that night and cozy was of the tour. The black sabbath thing had also been brought foward and i think cozy had to make a choice.
rock the heaven cozy and gary !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the album "After The War" is a milestone in the history of rock music. Before reading your kids "Winnie the Pooh", play them this record!!!
