And at my ripe old age of fifty-four years I am ashamed to confess that I cry of emotion and joy every time I see him or listen to him (there have been countless more!). "Die zauberflöte" is one of the few operas in which the baritone stays with the Soprano, generally the baritone ends up alone, and the Soprano with the tenor, as a Baritone I'm glad this happy endings for Baritones exist. :D

Seriously...I sometimes get discourage about pursuing a degree in music, or pursuing performing at all. But then I watch this...and it's as if Cecilia's joy from singing this soars into my own heart...this performance is simply amazing, and watching it truly inspires me to keep performing!
