  • wow. This was really helpful, can't wait to watch you other videos. Thanks for this.

  • @AltairEzioLoverAC thank you, glad you enjoyed them!

  • I can't import my videos... . You know why? Please help!

  • @Algundsport

I have the same problem, for AVCHD format 1080p I tried both frames 25p-50p and it opens only..photos!PG

    Did you find a solution?

  • @Algundsport

I've just received an answer:it does not support AVCHD!!!I have to convert them but I don't have the attention to do this!!So I'll ininstall this!!

  • i want to insert the face of someone else into a video so that that face will be covering the original face throughout the motion video while the video is in motion. is this possible with lightworks?

  • Is it possible to crop around a photo? And if so can I make it move along a certain path? Like say I have a picture of a troll face but theres a white block around it, can i remove the block so that only the face is there.

  • Are you using Internet Explorer? That's a felony in Norway where I come from. Great tutorials by the way.

  • Is there an undo button?

Please tell me there's an undo button.

  • did you do your intro thing also with lightworks? and if yes how did you? (im sry if you already answered this question in a vid or somewhere else ^^')

  • @0509brook No problem. Actually, I used After Effects

  • do movies in general use 24 fps or 25 fps? I wanna use the one that will give me a cinamatic effect. IF you're wondering, yes i am a newbie. :)

  • @Rawinho Well, a simple search no doubt will tell you that different films use a variety of frame rates, but in terms of consumer products, using 24fps in combination with good audio and lighting will make for a cinematic film look. We are working on a tutorial for that which will be released soon. BTW- 25fps is the PAL standard in Europe, not the US

  • @dvstudiosproductions Thank you!!!

  • @Rawinho anytime, thanks for taking the time to watch these!

  • How do you save your work?

  • @MrIliketoast123 It auto saves

  • Are you Canadian?.. you said notes like 'newts' :)

  • Hi, I've got the same question as springflower... Can anyone advise how you retrieve old edits?

  • when i saw this was a pro editor in opensource i camme in my fucking pants

  • By any chance, do you accept an imaginary 5 dollar bill as donation. I'm a poor teen. And i actually enjoyed this first tutorial. Not very hard to get, informative and yeah.

Thanks for the tut, as i know you spent some time making it.

  • @psxworld101 Thanks for the support, glad you found it helpful. Be sure to check out the other videos in the series

  • could you tell me how to open old edit.... i didnt deleted them but i dont know how to show them again? or where do they go?

  • FPS is an issue i dont understand. wont take in some clips because of this. also it has issues with certain formats....

  • porque no esta en español ò___ó

  • @laflakha because my audience speaks english....

  • @laflakha yes i agree it should be in spanish. i mean i don´t speak spanish but it easier to understand than english

  • SD frame option explanation from the lightworks forum:

    Full SD frames:

SD images are 720 pixels wide, but there are only 702 active pixels (with padding on either edge). Turning on 'full SD frames' will cause the whole SD image to appear in viewers, rather than just the active area. This will generally lead to the appearance of black bars on the vertical edges of your images.

  • HOW DO I IMPORT FILES INTO IT ........???

    I TRIED EVERY POSSIBLE WAY...

    PLZ HELP

  • @R1ProductionHouse You have to run as administrator otherwise it won't figure out which drives to use.

  • @JaceMorley I did ran as administrator ..... i just cant import any files.. pls tell me in which format i should convert any video and how...

    thanx.

  • @R1ProductionHouse mov is the only file option that works for me. I downloaded a free file converter and converted all my wmv files to avi(which supposedly works in lightworks) but the avi files still didn't import. I then converted all my avi files to mov files and voila--lightworks read and imported them. I hate lightworks though.

  • How to connect the plug Premiere Pro and Adobe AE ?

  • More great tutorials coming from DV and myself, stay tuned!
