I understand how and why some people can find these ugly, though I find them beautifil - they look like kinetic art to me. And I don't find the industrial-looking nuclear plants, with their curved cooling towers and big fences with barbed wire, pretty. Most turbines don't have fences, and many have the lower parts of the towers painted green to help them blend into the scenery at eye level at close ranges.

Congrats, way to trash your countryside. Too bad, the UK was so pretty too.
