  • That's not terrifying, That's awesome!

  • I feel like a real loser for not paying attention at school. :(

  • INCREDIBLE! These kids and this village is amazing. The Colombian government should be ashamed of not building a bridge for these people, though. I mean, no kid should have to risk dying every day just to go to school/get groceries. Wow. I will never complain about my commute again.

  • @ddixon06 It sure looks dangerous, but some risks are seen as acceptable, the same way western society has to accept that cars can take lives. Actually, in Colombia I'd expect the commute to school for kids in the city is probably more risky, due to traffic, than what these kids have to do in terms of the injury rate. That said, some more sophisticated trolleys wouldn't hurt. A trolley that locks around the cable and is equipped with a break costs nothing compared to a bridge.

  • Ok, if people are actually scared of ziplining then there pussies.

  • @atomman45

Yah, and not knowing that the day you ride it will be the day it snaps? Mmmhm. Please try it first before commenting.

  • Holy fuck. those kids are badasses.

  • In American you'd hear about some dumbass dying and then the zip line would be taken down for being "too dangerous" and someone would get sued....smfh

  • ... Terrifying? Are you all a bunch of pussies?

Zip lines are FUN! xD I'd kill to be able to use one to get to school/work everyday.

  • @LadyLatias They are fun, but if the zipline snaps then you're fucked.

  • @SargentMugen No one has been injured or killed from it though! I'm sure if you don't carry a massive amount of weight with you/aren't a fucking fatass you should be fine :P

  • @LadyLatias I think you are forgetting the part where they might as well be ziplining off the top of the Empire State Building. I think the line is a bit higher than you may think....

  • Aw, hells no; not even for money. Guess everybody's "I used to walk to school in the snow uphill both ways" stories just got played. :)

  • ... and they do it with a motherf*cking rope for a harness.

  • And I had to ride a fucking schoolbus.

  • i didnt even know i had a fear of heights until i watched this damn

  • JESUS!

  • Just looking at that cable scares the shit outta me D:

  • "Terrifying"!? That looks wicked awesome!! :-D

  • Honestly, that doesn't sound that bad. If anything goes wrong, I'll just embrace my demise. Badass way to die, to be honest.

  • Looks awesome. But.. is there a source for this outside of Ripley's Believe it or Not?

  • @xenigirl

    Cracked.

  • @xenigirl You don't consider Ripley's credible? I mean, to fake it they'd have to find kids to do this and pretend it was something they did all the time. That would be harder to believe.

  • This makes me want to go to Los Penis.

  • They see me rollin'........they hatin'

  • This is exactly why America is quickly falling from being the world's greatest super power! People can barely get their kids to ride a damn bus to school.

  • I have a phobia of heights and even watching a few minutes of this made my soul shrivel.

  • These kid's parents are letting them travel at 30+ speeds on a zipline suspended 2,000 feet above the ground.

My mom wouldn't even let me cross the street until I was seventeen....damn I'm sheltered.

  • Comment removed

  • @ShanChan92 Even by north western standards thats really sheltered.

  • @Shrameh It's not like I haven't crossed it before, she just doesn't know I do.

  • ...like a boss.

  • Thumbs up if cracked sent you here.

  • Some kids want to be Batman when they grow up.

Each and every one of these people already were Batman before they were even expected to start acting like grown-ups.

  • Holy Mary mother in the manger. Hurdling down that cable of death is just the beginning of their trek to school?! Next time I start to complain about the school bus I rode on as kid not having any air conditioner . . . I think I won't.

  • LIKE A BOSS!

  • What if it snaps?

  • @asaphheng

    they die

  • another reason why this country produces the most badass capos of drug cartels (any other thing coming from colombia, btw?)

  • they use twigs as fucking breaks

  • That is AWESOME! I would make any excuse (like only being capable to defecate on the other side of the line) just to do that all day long. On the other hand, having to commute by walking trough drug dealer neighbourhoods, catching the subway to attend school surrounded by pedophiles is probably more dangerous and more common

  • @samerziadeh Nice attempt to sound smug and all, but most places no matter how rural don't go zip lining across huge drops, either.

  • @samerziadeh By your obvious access to the web and the spare time to write such a whinny unnecessarily critical bit of pap, I am guessing you're aren't one of those in the world "beyond". Seriously, get over yourself and ego. This is both fascinating and unique and it is beyond me why you would feel the need to find the negative.

  • ...how do they get back?

  • @MarcusBechelli There's another zip line on the other side.

  • where is it?

  • @louaraujo Colombia. Like a boss.

  • Colombian Girls. They have more balls than You. Like a boss.

  • @juanma9112 Implying all colombian girls do this.

  • Why do they make this sound like it's the most risky thing ever in human history?

I'd rather do this then go up in a space shuttle.

No way would we ever have this kind of transport in the lawsuit nuts USA!

  • Seems like an efficient way to get around. Don't see what all the fuss is about.....

  • You couldn't get me to zipline that shit if Mila Kunis was waiting for my throbbing cock on the other side! But these kids...they do it for school?! I feel like a piece of shit...

  • When I was younger I was at a camp. there was this treehouse with a zipline at the top it wasn't that high up and all it did was take you over a stream nearby... that was it...... But my fear of heights wouldn't allow me to do it period. I had trouble climbing down the tree and the very idea of taking the zipline terrified me more than I'd like to admit.

After watching this I think my penis just shrunk inside my body. I feel so lame.

  • How do they get back up?

  • what are the three useful tips?!!

  • after all the crazy shit i've seen on the Internet

this is literally nothing at all....

    just another "meh"

and im such a gullible person now...ppl can tell me anything and i'll believe its possible cuz nothing surprise me anymore.....

  • Yea, next person who tells me they walked to school up a hill both ways with no shoes on in six feet of snow. Well, they've got a big surprise in store for them when I tell them this story! I just feel inadequate now.

  • i guess my parents walking uphill both ways to school isnt as great as screaming down a zipline 1200 feet above a river to and from school.

  • Why is her sister in a bag? LOl.

  • You'd think she could at least carry her sister in a back pack or something

  • Where's the interview with the guy that put up the ropes in the first place? :P

  • waaah nyalinya besar sekali,,

  • Thumbs up SModcast.

  • Holy shit holy shit holy shit *hyperventilates*

  • When I was little zip lines were known as 'death slides' in England. This is the first one I've seen which has earned the title!

  • Hey, it works both ways! That's some chicken.

  • Does anyone else want to know how they get back up? And how long that takes...

  • @Mareena43

video says theres another zipline that goes back. its probably still a good walk up on both mountains to get from the zipline drop to the zip line start up top

  • @Mareena43 It is mentioned that there is another zipline to get back to the village. :)

  • How does the brake work?

  • That would be equal part pants-shittingly horrifying and mind-fuckingly awesome

  • Wish I could ride that thing to school.

  • ...I was sent by one called Cracked?

  • that little kid fuckin loves it

  • At the end are 30 cobras, 12 leopards and an elephant, all of which do not hinder their progress in getting to school.

  • History has tought us that when the government doesn't give SHIT about your life, it's time for BADASS!

  • @Smakovich You, sir, are a prophet.

  • They should just make a highway system of zip lines.

  • This actually looks quite fun and efficient, apart from the simple harnesses.

  • this isnt that bad. i guess the intense part is that the harness of the zipline isnt very safe

  • note to self: start a rope business in Colombia

  • SHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!1!1!11111

    Also, Cracked.

  • that looks like my childhood dream form of transport. Who needs a bike when you have a giant flying fox.

  • Awesome! i'd do this! i'd pee a little, but i would totally do this! :D

  • I'm calling BS. "Everyday"? There is no school on the weekends.

  • @justinlegend8800 Maybe not in your country. You should think before you open your mouth.

  • @justinlegend8800

Yes, because obviously every school system in the world works like ours. Even then, they probably use the zipline to get to other places, aside from school.

  • Also...everyday includes bringing groceries back home from town and whatever other errands they have to run.

  • @justinlegend8800 Are you just an idiot or what?

Different part of the world, dumbass.

  • @Masterof7s Ever hear of sarcasm?

  • wow...i guess i won't be complaining about traffic anymore..

  • Fuck that.

  • this could be from some bad movie...but that sounds like fun.

    slightly unsave fun, though^^

  • Give me a thumbs up if you got this from Cracked.

  • Cracked once again succeeded in making me feel like a pussy.

  • Am I the only one who would totally do this?

  • @TheAdventureTom Dunno, but I wouldn't.

  • and internet fuckers still hailing to that lady dragon lame shit like she was something other than a slimy yakuza slutshit or somesuch

  • she is the first female in human history to have a giant pair of BALLS.

  • lol is her towns name los penis??

  • Holy Crap! That's my country...

  • The father's tips were really useful

  • American Children are PUSSIES!

  • @johncconnelly I think every kid who doesn't zipline to school is a pussy.

  • I hate over dramatic documentaries.

  • @Digimaul Yeah. The whole time they're playing this dramatic "danger" music and all I can think is: "That looks like fun!"

  • Terrifying and sweet as hell at the same time. I know where my next holiday's going to be now, thanks Cracked!

  • ...

99% of those kids' weight comes from their massive balls. Especially the little girl in the sack.

  • lucky basters

  • in the village of lost penis?

  • 17 seconds notice how close her hair is to getting caught in the pulley. Remember this if you ever install 1 of these. Your head should be a couple feet below and behind the pulley.

  • or just go live down the mountain ?

  • the key of awsomeeeee

  • i wuoldnt mind doin this

  • Hardcore dare everyday. What a crazy life lol.

  • I say someone should donate some harnesses

  • los penis hahaha

  • Damn, I would go to school everyday if I had to go on a zip line.

  • i would hate that

  • you think these kids will be happy to get a bridge ? lol i wouldnt. maybe i can make a zipline to mcdonalds?

  • Craziest story ever

  • LUCKY KIDS

  • @stan187420666 Until one of these days they fall...

  • Lol if they drop that little break they are so fucked. Im a clumsy fuck i would drop it and get destroyed against the end at like 50 miles an hour lol

  • That is ridiculous. I say we raise money and build them a bridge!!!

  • so jealous....

  • if they paid then they would be liable.

  • Who cares ! This is working fine ... They're used to it

  • Looks like fun! What I don't understand though is the very last sentence. Why does that girl live in a bag?

  • @ChaoticSupernova i know???

  • WTF...?? Nuts..

  • That's crazy! Who would actually do that??. (I'm actually asking a question) lol haha.(:

  • lol thts funny

  • Now I know where the term BIG BALLS came from.

  • well, better than walking I guess

  • omgg that looks amazingg lol butt dangerous thats just wrong.

  • WWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE uh oh the rope snaps

  • wait. los PIGNAS?

  • That is insane.

  • So if the government won't pay for a bridge, will they at least pay for some decent harnesses?

  • @dancraggs

the assholes are too busy sniffing cocaine

  • @dancraggs It's the government... so no.

  • @dancraggs How about they just get these 60 people to move somewhere a bit more logical?

  • @katagore "You live somewhere illogical. Go and move somewhere more logical." - That'd go down well, I'm sure.

  • Comment removed

  • @dancraggs The government over there is currently in something known as a "shitty situation". Wait, they've been that way for 10 years now.

  • what happens if the stick breaks? the one to slow them to a stop?

  • holy crap they got guts! idk if i would ever do that...

  • Haha The qirl came out of the bag!

  • that looks like fun im so jealous

  • lmao the ending was a surprise

  • los penis lol

  • why does every one think the government should allways have conrol and fix every posible wrong in the world very smart way of transport ski lifts use cables every year and nothing unsafe about this video just cause some one is to scared to trust a 2inch cable i used to run a crane with a 5\8" cable it was some think like 3000lb breaking strenth

  • Tat is soo cool!!

  • One word.....MOVE!!!!

  • I don't understand. A healthy 7 year old should weigh about 50 pounds or so and the older girl should weigh more. How can there be a weight limit of 80 pounds if that's the case? There's NO WAY that they weigh 40 pounds each! Also, you can clearly see adults using it at various points in the video. I weigh about 130 pounds and I'm a healthy 16 year old(apparently slightly underweight even) so I can't see how anybody older than me(unless they were severely malnourished) could weigh only 80 pounds

  • no he said he wouldnt carry over 80 pounds

  • Well he says: This man doesnt carry more then 80 pouns, its not the limit, its how much weigth he dares to take with him.

  • They said he won't "CARRY" more than 80 pounds, not that it's not safe above 80 pounds.

  • you're a healthy kid but you lack a brain

  • @SpitfireMB they never said there was a weight limit of 80 punds her father said the most he carries WITH him is 80 pounds so its the 80 pounds plus the fathers weight

  • i wanna see you do it then... carrying a 7 year old child in a sack 2 times a day over i giant river of DEATH! >:/

  • i carry millions of children in my 2 sacks all day every day

  • hahahah nice one

  • nasty tail

  • @hotty198 Actually, You don't have the children smart one. The woman has the eggs A.K.A. CHILDREN. Epic failure.

  • @lxCowGoMooxl Erm...go study biology kid...

  • @tangocolt02 Noo.. Ermm.. I need to go study. >.>

  • @hotty198 You have 2?

  • that would be fun but very unsafe. the government should make a safer sipline and keep it maintained and have harnesses for each person.

  • How much safer than "no deaths, no serious injuries" does it need to be?

  • The government should at least give them some better equipment if they wont build a bridge for them...it shouldnt cost to much to give them better equipment at least...right?

  • This is sad I dont think it would cost that much to build a bridge or something..I really hope that nothing bad happens to them

  • Shouldnt someone buld a bridge for them or at least safer zip lines.?

  • really interesting how the world is living.

not enough people to living there to build a safe bridge?? you have to be kidding

You can see how the world thinks.

even if it was just 3 people living there, the safest way of travel would build a bridge.

    common sense people...common sense

  • move somewhere else? maybe....on the other side of the zipline?
