  • You have to be sure to also have "Wrap Text" applied to the cell.

  • Hey i am having a bit of problem. It all worked i am trying to sort out the Data labels. i have a column chart and then a line graph over the front i want the line graph data labels to show the different options. I have got it saying this in the select data screen but when it comes to the data labels it wont work.

  • the char(10) is not working for me on excel 2003. its giving me calues togeather like "goodbad" but not giving me value like good on top and bad below...why is that

    Try word wrap on the cell. But remember, the word wrap is for the whole cell and the CHAR(10) is to tell the formula to drop the remaining text down at that point. If you did not have the CHAR(10) then the point at which Excel dropped text down to the next line would vary.
