And also the seat placement is a great clue and how compact the machine is .. but unfortunately my family owns the bigger newer things and all i can do is study these old tractors and learn because my grandpa sold john deere all sizes of equipment for 62 years the oldest machine have is a john deere 4440 and newest is a john deere 9870 lol

I believe that could be John Deere's Lindeman, built between 1946 and 1956. I might be wrong.

@9332931 the lindman crawlers were John deere model B-orchard with custom tracks witch were made by lindman to have crawler abilities and i believe that the years on the lindman BO's are late 30s mid 40s the crawler your talking about is the model MC crawler witch was design in partner between john deere and lindman crawlers made in the newest factory in 1946 in duebeuqe(spelled wrong) plant for the model M,MT,MC tractors
