the difference is launch control, the gtr has it and that 911 turbo doesn't have pdk. It's not a race if both have launch control, the 911 is just faster, the 911 driver in this vid did a very good job.

@rvind92g Well the thing is...Cars aren't meant to be run on air fields&They aren't exactly made to run in straight lines (we got steering wheels for a reason) Now as for the Bugatti, Nissan GTR has already beaten it on Nurburgring with a stunning 7:24.22 while the poor thing (Veyron) got it in 7:40. Datsun will beat Veyron hand down on every race track without breaking a sweat. BUT for those who can afford a Veyron & love her...they are an exception cus they love a car they can buy :)

In everyday driving conditions (aka not around a track) Porsche is still king. Not to mention the driving difference. It's clear to me that you have never been in a GTR. I drive a GTR and a 911 Turbo S daily. The Porsche is a luxury car and you can tell by the ride quality. The GTR is more race car oriented and grips like no other car I've driver. I love both

@Storm7289 You can tell this particular Porsche 911 Turbo is a 997.1 variant because of the rims. The change to the 997.2 version brought an increase in power (from 480 to 500) as well as the faster shifting PDK dual clutch transmission. 997.2 Turbo's are almost guaranteed 11's in the quarter, with low 11's happening the majority of the times. The 997.2 Turbo S get's 10's on good runs.
