Great Aussie talent. This would have to be one of the all time great love songs. I've got their Greatest Hits album- gotta say it "Cops a flogging!". Timeless music- still sounds as good now as it did then.
They were great,,,and a great time the 50s and 60s...just a great time....Vale Laurie...I saw him a few days before he passed away ..I wanted to speak to him but glad I didn't I heard later his father had just passed away...then I hear he had passed away also...sadly missed...they were great times...
@AramaHahore Who needs Wayne Newton, when we have these Aussie Icons. Sorry no offence intended. These guys are real Aussie Troupers. Clean cut and with great voices. Not like the shit you get today.
I remember they were the first men I ever met who had long hair like the Beatles. They used to play at De Marco's Hotel in Essendon, Melbourne on a Saturday afternoon back in 1965 (pubs used to close at 6pm then). Their harmonies were great. I was 7 years old and I think they were a bit bemused when I approached them for their autographs, which I've still got. I was over the moon when they became a regular part of the children's TV show The Magic Circle Club.
I was just a kid when I got my first 45, and this song was it. I think I wore the grooves out I played it so much! Just a magic song, timeless. You're a gem, Sallie.

Saw these guys live in 2001 and they were amazing even all those years later. Great music made by great people.
