I called Lautenberg's (NJ) office last week and some kid answered the phone and basically laughed in my face and was extremely arrogant and ignorant.
When I told him that the PBA and FMBA in NJ is up in arms over this bill due to the fact their contractual insurance upon retirement would be subject to this public option, he was clueless. I'd imagine ALL your contractual agreements would be subject to the public plan as well until the gov't ultimately takes over completely, which is the goal.
We took back NJ, what on earth makes you liberals think we won't oust Lautenberg and Menendez? It's going to happen. The both of them have voted for ALL of this socialist CRAP and they're going to pay. Especially for blowing off their constituents in such an arrogant manner. They're going to be eating crow very soon. Mark my words. I said it with Corzine and I'll say it again. Everyday, another democrat leaves their socialist roles and it will continue until this is reversed and FIXED!
This is patently bullshit. And Conservatives for Patient Rights is funded largely by HMOs who stand to lose a ton of cash from the public option. Hell, the founder is the founder of an HMO.
