Morten Veland (the guy that, when he left Tristania, it became a bad band) has a new projetc, from last year;

Mortemia. (he is the only musician and singer of the band. It's a one-man-band. Very good, but no female voice... too bad !!! (but very good still. ^^))

They were the only one band dealing that quality of music (much better than craddle of filth and others...). But their last albums (Ashes and Illumination) are low-quality goth metal... There isn't anymore the sweetness and this lovely mix of growls and clean female vocals, the great rythms, the perfect arrangements. It has become more "death", less "melodic". Too bad.

I didn't even tried Rubicon. Bored to be disappointed by this band.

So sad.

I love metal. But it's sad to see that the only band which used to deal such great music has now become the same as lot of other metal band.

What is really sad is: the other gothic/metal bands, like: Sirenia, Autumn (damn I loved this one), Within Temptation, After Forever,... They did really good music.
