@BombTheBasss there was allready repetitive music made in the 70's with Moog synth(very popular and still used today). in the late 70's they started using a synth kickdrum (Minimal Wave, Coldwave), around mid 80's there was Detroit and Chicago starting what we call today Acid & Techno/house with stronger Kicks which gave it more punch and both having there own basslines. then '88 New Beat in Belgium. started as mistake with a 45rpm record played at 33rpm. 89 was no exception for this music : )
