  • i did a review on revlon color stay foundation along with estee lauder and M.A.C if anyone would like to look and subscribe to my channel :)

  • Its great for the philippine weather! I recommend it for those staying in Philippines!

  • Hi Emily! do you have a review for Revlon Colorstay mineral blush?

  • Idk if you're either in your late 20's or late 30's.. It's creeping me out girl /:

  • @SupArmadillo Going by her YT name, I would gues she was born in 1983

  • Review on Revlon's ColorStay Aqua Minerals?

  • are you a news anchor or something? your voice is really good.

  • @MrQueDijo Yes, she is.

  • @aerdna14

    ohh ok lol thanks

  • try the new aqua mineral make up i love it

  • @JaydynLayne175

Sounds good gurl if you wanna add me on msn my user name is glamcourture323 :]

And yes I agree 100 percent beauty products can be soo expensive. did you hear MAC is giving away a bunch of free giftcards??

My cousin told me they just shared this link with their facebook fans on monday, go here.

    tiny。cc/980071

One more thing, you must use the coupon password MAKEUP on the second page of registering =)

  • I am so shocked that you did not like this powder foundation!! I am in love with it!!! looks flawless on me. Of course the brush is shit....that's always a guarantee.

  • I am so shocked that you did not like this powder!! I am in love with it!!! looks flawless on me.

  • i have that same thing but my packaging is different i have the one with removable brush on top of the lid and it is FANTASTIC ...it lasts all day and is so smooth and beautiful. i love it :)

  • i just bought this for $3 on clearance at my right aid like 20 minutes ago... thanks god i didnt pay the full price..but i have a feeling it may work for me

  • @XxMiSSZ0MBiExX lllllllluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckyyyyyyyyy

  • I bought this the other day at Big Lots for $4. Haven't used it yet though. :O)

  • loved the way you said"...it barely moves" (2:25) you sounded so groovey!! :)

  • The packaging, with that tiny scratchy brush isn't very good. But,the foundation itself is Awesome! It covers well, and my most important thing,it Stays! :) Love it...till someone makes something better ;)

  • I tried this and I really like it. The brush IS small, but it's not bad, especially since the MA told me that the best way to put it is by lightly doing circular motions everywhere across your face. I find it easier to do that with a brush as small as this.

  • i always love ur makeup, but the look u have in this video is amazing!

  • can you do a review of revlon colorstay liquid foundation and maybelline superstay foundation?

  • i wanted to know if u could do a drugstore dupe for Mac mineralized skin finish natural powder?

  • @VERO1285 There is a revlon colorstay mineralized finishing powder which is a dupe for MAC mineralized skin finish. You can usually find all three shades of it at Walmart or Target. Hope this helps :).

  • weird.

  • ZOMG Face at 6:57 :)

Anyways, great review! Would you say Revlon Colorstay Concealers or Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer is better? Thanks! :D <3

    -TheNathalieGirl

  • ahh.. I wish you had written down what you were wearing - your lips are such a pretty pink perfect for a wedding I have coming up :( xx

  • I see that you made this video in 2008 and I'm just seeing it now because I am using this product at this time and I wanted to see some reviews. You're 100% right about the delivery system. When you get toward the end of the jar, where I am now, it's so hard to get it out. It's just a mess. But I do like the product itself. I use a different brush with it, and I tap it out onto a tissue to get it on the brush. Yes, that's too much work!

  • omg u are so right i hated it too it makes my face look nice for like 30mins i thought maybe i wasnt using enough but now i see its just the product that sucks...u r super pretty BTW!!

  • i always had to dump out the makeup in a little plate, it got annoying, but i liked the powder.

i still love pressed powder than anything else.

  • thank goodness i didn't buy this. i love the pressed powder though.

  • saucy looking video! :) did you know U can get impressive makeup from Olay to test before you buy from Gratis Makeup Samples

  • the packaging is ridiculous as the brush is too stiff and small. i cant even get a kabuki brush in the bottle. i had to empty the whole content into a different package which is my old product in order to use this foundation. really love the powder though.

  • have you tried it with fix+ and a mac 109 brush i think it can work like that or jst use it as a setting powder, it works for my mom lol

  • I also reviewed this product but I used it as a setting powder instead of a foundation so I actually really liked it. Check out my review of it on my channel :)

  • thank you for the info

  • best mineral makeup i think. it stayed on all day and didn't break out my skin great on oily skin. better to use ur own brushes. p.s i have very oily skin :>

  • I got them and thought they were gonna be great but they made my face burn... dont think they are supposed to do that! lol so i gave those away and bought different ones.

  • yeah i have that. what a waste of money ughh

  • AGREED! On every single point.

  • Has anyone tried the Revlon Makeup Remover Towellets?

  • I saw this product in CVS today...and came so close to buying it! lol

    Glad I didn't...but I'm also a fan of Colorstay. =)

    Thanks for the review♥

  • glad I found this review...I was going to buy it...I have the loreal minerals, they're o.k. but I'm not loving that either, but I love the feel of the mineral foundations. I'll try the maybelline. Thanks; )

  • Thank you for this review i was almost tempted to buy it, i love their liquid colorstay and was gonna try the mineral but after what you said i'll think i'll skip it and keep to maybelline mineral, love it!

  • u should definitely try afterglow cosmetics mineral make up its amazing, u can watch some reviews on youtube and u will see how good it is!

    I LOVE IT

  • elizabeth arden mineral with built in grinder is better

  • You're totally right! This product Suuuucks!

  • EVEYTHING is bad about this product. It is dry and cakey, and the brush is terrible.

  • YOU ARE SO PRETTY!

You kinda look like Kat Von Dee!

  • I will have to agree with completely. I use the other products, but this did not live up. I do still use it as a powder over the my colorstay foundation.

  • I've been using this product along with the color stay foundation for oily and combination skin. I simply tap the powder into another minderal powder's lid ( that i have already used up) which i keep under or right next to revlon's mineral powder. i use a kabooke brush to apply it, and it works pretty well for me. I have acne on my jaw line and i had a hard time covering it, but i can comletely cover it (as far as the redness) with these two products. I would say for about 8 hrs, not 16 though.

  • i just got this and when i open out the brush all the bristles just fell off and all over! (not that i was planning to use the brush) i didnt really like this foundation either.

  • Thanks this was helpful! And I use the Loreal mineral powder. :D

  • i was about to purchase a revlon mineral foundation yesterday because it was on sale here in the philippines. and i gave a really huge sigh when i saw this. :)

    I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. :D

my brother teases me with treating your videos like my bible. hahaha :))

  • I use the Revlon ColorStay liquid mineral and then top it with the powder mineral foundation for excellent coverage, and I love it! I live in humid FL, so I would use a powder to set anyway. I was delighted when this combo worked! And it is SUPER long wearing this way. Goodbye Lancome. Hello Revlon!

  • hiii your skin is really great many compliments....i have oily skin and so makeup every kind of makeup vanish in a little time so i'd like to know about color stay or ultra mat foundation revlon...i've read and watched big reviews about those foundations but i don't know what's right for my bad skin! thanks for the time you dedicated to me! bye bye from an italian woman....i'm from naples!!!!!! good evening dear!

  • Its not the size that matters it's how you work with what you got

  • Revlon RULES for not testing on animals!!! I love the Cruelty free foundation! :D unlike L'oreal, Maybelline, Neutrogena 2 name a few....who do sell cruel make up

  • huh? where'd you learn that?

  • very helpful, thank you

    x

  • hi

if you dont like he product kindlly sent it to me..

    lol..

im 21 only and cant afford to buy those expensive make- ups..

    thanks..but u look gorgeous...

  • wow you are gorgeous!

  • I recommend the Maybelline Mineral Power Foundation for people looking for drugstore brand mineral foundation. It even comes with a kabuki brush. The brush isn't all that bad and I actually use it every day!

  • I actually love this product

  • I like EM too. I like the selection of colors and finishes... the organization of the site and the price.

  • I love this stuff! it's the only drug store mineral make up that doesn't have a a really red base when you need a darker shade it's good for in between skin tones for darker skin

  • the revlon colorstay lasts 16 hours

  • I really love your hair! could you do a video on what hairproducts you use? and I also love your voice! it's so cute!

  • I must be the only one that likes this product. I have dry skin and foundation just doesnt work even when I moisturize before applying this. I have pretty good skin in terms of not having acne and pimples but do have some redness and its just a bit uneven. This has good coverage for me and looks really natural.

  • it's a pity you weren't happy with this. i'm also a massive revlon colorstay fan :)

i love the foundation. the foundation here costs from AU$30 -AU$45, i wish we had cheaper stores like Sally's in australia, i guess we pay for the conversion and the shippping of products here that chemists (drugstores) sell to us.

  • i hate the price difference between the states and here in australia! ebay is my friend for many things!

  • @magikmo69 - Me too! This is $43 in NZ which is aprox. $30USD. The prices are going to be even crazier now that the GST is going up to 15%! >___>

  • @magikmo69 aahhh it ruins me!!! yeah strawberrynet makes my life. id die for sephora though.. priceline will do for now :(

  • the proper way to use this brush is in a circular way, the woman in the store showed me how (because the first time I used I tried to do it in the regular way; circular movements are the key. And you must never shake it, just incline it enough so that the exact amount of powder comes out from the little holes (with the brush in you hand, not in the product, otherwise you end up with an over loaded brush) Then do circles inside with the brush, and apply. I works very well.

  • Your face is always soo pretty in all of your videos. What do you use?

  • i agree with yoyocanary..

i really like this product.. haven't had a prob. with it.

  • it just looks OKAY! usually revlon is pretty good though :)! GOOD quality. LOL!

  • yea honestly if the packaging SUCKS thats like 90% of the product quality to me..

  • I haven't had any problems with it. I turn it upside down to get the right amount on the brush, and I like the brush because it's easier to apply it evenly. I apply an illuminating lotion under it, and I find that that helps it stay.

  • hello! :) L'oreal's mineral product has an adequately sized brush and their packaging isn't much larger than this. It's also the same price.

  • Other than the brush, which they usually made crappy because they expect you to use your own brush, do you recommend the actual product? Does the minerals actually work?

  • Did you even watch the video?

  • Yes. Retard

  • Very mature response there.

  • Well, I mean, you must be mental, because there is no need to ask me if I watched the video, when she speaks about the brush size, and I was also speaking about it. If you have got a problem, keep it to yourself.

  • "do you recommend the actual product? Does the minerals actually work?" question answered at 8:53, and she pretty much mentions 8000 times that she doesn't like the product. I would ask you why you feel the need to get so defensive, but you seem to be around 9 years old so I'll leave it at that.

  • Well, for one, if you knew anything you were talking about, You would know that I WASN'T talking about the one she's reviewing. Well, since you mention it, in the first place, I'm getting defensive because I wasn't talking to you. I'm actually much older than 9. Get over yourself, and stop talking to me, doll.

  • Furthermore, if they are going to put a brush on it that they don't intend to be used then why even waste the money manufacturing the brush in the first place?

by the way it would be "make" not "made crappy" and and "Do" not "Does the minerals"... just so you know

  • @emilynoel83 why would anyone promote a company who tests on animals vs revlon who doesnt?

  • hmm.

i like revlon eyeliner. thats good

  • Hello, I bought this foundation yestarday - and I've returned it today! It had glitter in it it was awful! The coverage is inexisting... I changed it with a Colorstay foundation (the liquid)... I shold have listen to your opinion here!:)

  • hey i have&use that but mine is in medium i had light before but it was to white for me =] but it works good for me?

  • H good review thank you!

p.s. I saw behind you on your wall somthing and i'm wondering- are the letters in bulgarian/russian?:)

  • I agree...it's REALLY bad. It made my face flaky!!! I gave it to my 8 year old to play with :)

  • i bought this product a few months ago and I have to agree with everything you've said about it.

  • Hey Emily,

What mineral makeup would you recommend? I have oily problem skin and am interested in trying mineral makeup (I currently use Almay Clear Complexion liquid foundation). If you can suggest any brands I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

  • Lmao, I really enjoyed this video. You are very funny but also very informative at the same time.

  • I made sure i invested in a really good brush set, so it's all i use on my face. Any other brushes i automatically throw them away first thing. Never trust ANY brush that comes with the make up, my experience, they are just there for looks. Just like some blush brushes are:)

  • I really hated it to. i use the colorstay liquid and love it so when i heard about the mineral i really wanted to try it. when i looked in the mirror 2 hours later it was horrible i rush to wash my face. i really hate the mineral colorstay.

  • את פצצה מותק הייתי עושה אותך

  • I liked this makeup. It lasted on my face...I have oily skin but this kept me from looking oily all day. The brush is tiny, but it hasn't perturbed me from using the product. L'oreal is my fav. Maybelline's gave me huge zits by the time I was at the end of the usage! Rimmel's has the most ridiculous applicator! It has fabric over the shaker that I guess you are supposed to use to rub the product on? idk. Plus they have a narrow color range---very orangy.

  • thank u so much for the review. YOU made me laugh out loud so many times during the video!! especially when u put the tiny brush on your face LOL how tiny!!!!

  • Was definitely not a fan of this product either!! (and I love all their other ones too!!) Emily, could you let us know what winter moisturizer you use--I know you posted a video awhile back on winter moisturizers but both of the ones you recommended are discontinued (I was in love with the Nivea one!). Thanks for all your helpful vlogs :) Happy Holidays!

  • i really cannot get the hang of mineral makeups, they make me look powerdery and i don't like that look.

that rimmel 16hr foundation absolutely does work! i used to use it, their mousse 16hr foundation works amazingly, too!

  • emily you probably know this but you can return used makeup. many stores get a credit back from the manufacturer. i've done this at Target and Rite Aid and I hear Walgreens has the same policy.

  • good vid. i love all of yours acctually.

and your one of the prettiest people i have ever seen! And can you do a video on jane mineral loose powder??and send it to mee?

  • i did not like it either i bought it and returned it 2 hours later :(

  • I agree with you on the application. I also noticed after a few hours it looked green on my skin. I like other Revlon Colorstay products and had higher expectations for this mineral makeup.

  • If people are prone to acne, this product will REALLY break out your skin. I hated it.

  • Mineral makeup has built-in SPF ;)

  • Thanks for the review, just wondering could you do a review for the L'oreal Bare Naturale foundation? Thanks!

  • Thanks! Very good review and super useful since I'm in the market for a mineral makeup right now. Can you recommend one for dry skin? That's the only thing that makes me hold off...

  • Hi Emily, Great video like always. Have ever used Beyong Natural from Revlone. Can you please comment about that if you can. Thanks

  • hehehehe it is so funny when you mentioned the different of the size of brushes. You are so cute and honest. Thanks for posting the video :-)

  • Thanks for the review. I wanted to tra a revlon founation too, but I couldn't stand the smell...

Just one correction: Every mineral makeup does have SPF, as long as there is Titanium Dioxide in it. Which is one of the main incredients in MMU. They just are not allowed to write it on their products as long as the haven't done a very costy "official" test.

  • I have to comment here! I use colorstay foundation usually as well and bought this and felt disapointed! I am actually using it as a loose powder over my liquid colorstay and it is GREAT, it keeps me matte all day! I have to use it up somehow, lol! But people, if you have oily skin type, it's great as a powder to set your liquid, I use a big brush and tap some in a dish. :) Otherwise, yes, bad product if used as foundation!

  • your hair and makeup look really good in this vid!

  • hi this products is over 20 dollars in the uk alot cheaper in usa xx

  • very helpful thanks!

  • u looked like u were going to cry when u talk about how small the brush was..

    huggggs..

    thanks for the review!

  • Yeah.....the L'Oreal Bare Naturale does come on a little weird for me. By the end of the day, I find it a little cakey....no matter how little I put on.

  • You just saved me some money there. I was thinking of picking this up, but I've changed my mind now. Thanks a million!

  • wow i am soo glad you post this vid, I was just about to buy it but not anymore.

  • thanks for the vid, U saved me money from not trying this product b/c I've been wanting to try it but not anymore

  • i liked this powder at first, but then after having to daily put it into separate cap and applying with pink kabuki brush from coastel scents the process got really annoying and time consuming.. i didn't bother to even try applying it with the given brush, that brush is useless, revlon could of saved some money on material if they didn't attach this brush that nobody is going to use.

i was really excited when I first saw it because i love ColorStay products but this i won't be repurchasing :/

  • wow that brush is too small thx for the vid bcuz i was thinking of trying a new mineral foundation and thx now i kno to not buy that! XOXO Mellz

  • Revlon isn't cheap in Australia, you pay quite a bit of money for it, so I'm very disappointed when their products let me down. Thanks for the review, I'll avoid it.

  • I just love your videos and I value your opinion! Thanks so much for everything you do!

I was wondering if you would consider talking about your exercise routine or what you do to stay in shape. Your face is so beautiful! Thanks for the consideration!

  • I love how gently you let down this product, haha. I can tell you really don't agree with it.

This, too, something I don't like from the ColorStay line.

  • I hate hate hate hate this product. I thought I was the only one who had a problem with this product. The brush is too small and even when I use my own brush, it makes a huge mess. Plus, the color turned into an orange-ish color on my skin.

  • You're so pretty.

  • I use this foundation to set the concealer underneath my eyes, since the brush is so small.

  • Thank you. I almost bought this today, but the store line was too long. Thank goodness.

  • I love and recommend Physicians Formula Mineral Wear foundation, myself.

  • Oh, I'm so glad you did this review! Thank you so much. I've commented before that I am a huge fan also of the Revlon Colorstay foundation. It's one of my favorites actually. I've considered getting the Mineral one, but I think I'm gonna pass on it now that I've seen this review! THANKS!!! :)

  • Heyy Emily, I had the same problem with this prouduct and what I did was just transfer the prouduct into a different container and use my own brush... I hope this helps!

  • what a great tip, I'm going to try that, thanks! :)

  • omg, i'm glad i'm not the only one who didn't like this. I also bought it because i'm a big fan of the Colorstay products, but this one was rather disappointing. i agree with you, that brush is ridiculous. the only good thing was i didn't pay full price for it, lol.

  • Thanks so much for the review. I have almost picked that up several times. I am usually a MAC girl, but Revlon ColorStay products I really enjoy. So, I am happy to see this review prior to purchasing. I also enjoy the Mineral Power by Maybelline.

  • I wish I could use that rimmel foundation, but the color selection is just to limited. :( Thanks for the info!

  • What eyeshadows did you use in the video, they're gorgeous. But you look pretty in all your videos. ;D

  • i bought a loreal mineral bare natural powder and it was horrible.

when people complain that it is heavy, they are probably referring to the talc content in this product.

i am from canada and I have yet to complain to them about this. it was drying, not blendable, buildable, or breathable. it was pasty, the brush was course and hurt my skin too.

  • yeah i bought the colorstay found. and i didnt carre for the brush whatsoever its really scratchy

  • Thank you for the review... I am going to check out the Rimmel Lasting Color as I am just about out of foundation..... Happy Thanksgiving..

  • oh gosh, that brush is abnormally tiny! thanks for the review =)

  • question~what is the best drugstore brand mineral makeup???

  • other than everyday minerals (which i consider to be close to the drugstore price range)- i like Maybelline Mineral Power

  • i buy it too and i really hate the packaging i never used that small brush, but the foundation per se is not too bad, i've also tried the rimmel and the l'oreal but i didn't liked those too much either... my favorite is the maybelline, great video as always!

  • thankss for sharing!

i was thinking about getting this, but i'm not anymore i hate brushes that come like that!

    && i love revlon products too! :]

    thanks for the review!

    -mia

  • Tnx for the tip !

  • Thanks! I love your reviews it really helps me to what not to buy. I do have a request. I want to try to find either a long lasting lipstick or any other product that could help my color last?

  • Thnx for the vid!

  • I really like revlon colorstay products as well and this product just never appealed to me. I made the mistake of buying rimmel mineral powder foundation that comes with a puff jar recently and it was crap too.

  • OHHHHHHHH IS EXCELENT

  • nice review

  • greattt videooo

    iloooveee all your videoss!
