Oh, that makes more sense lol. Well the online for the Wii is free in North America and Europe anyway. And I guess the entire game would have to be redeveloped for the PS3, however the graphics and environments would have been amazing on PS3. But it's all about cost, and the Wii is cheap to produce for.

Monster Hunter Tri also seems to be getting a lot of advertising in the UK. And the Wii has sold best all over the world (including Japan), not just in America.

The company that had the servers went out of business/switched business models so that's not really possible unless someone sets up a server and offers an ISO patch for those with modded PS2s. Even for the PSP game they closed the download servers :| Capcom can't seem to get their act together with this series. I'm hoping they don't flake out for MH3
