Nothing wrong with the ka24. We dont even get silvias in US we only get 240sx hatch and coupe. Because of different laws for e test, chassis a lil differnt to survive our winters. Nothing wrong with n/a neither, they are pretty much the exact same cars just differnt engine, if ur so picky just throw a turbo on the ka24 and it iwll have more power then a sr20.

Basically, it was never crash tested in America, therefore they don't know how safe it is. As for the emissions, I have no idea what mpg this car gets, but I bet it's more than these 5 mpg pickup trucks I see driving around here.

It's illegal there because it's only available in RHD. Supra's in america are all LHD's so they are allowed. That's why old skyline's are illegal in the states aswell. I suppose if you make a LHD out of it yourself it would be legal? Not sure though

@gruhonjic you can get one here its just not as easy, 3 requirements for a car like that to be legal to get through customs, 1... safety requirements have to be met, ... 2.... bumper requirements .... and 3.... exhaust emissions (and that applies to the individual car not the make and model.. just temperarily slap on a super restrictive clean exhaust even if the car doesnt make shit for power until it gets through customs), this is all from a customs agent i spoke with

Huh? they are available in the old infiniti. SR20, except without the turbo. Tthey are just expensive and wont sell, that is why u dont see them in american except for in project builds. Anything can pass emmisions if u slap a good ole american catalytic converter.
