  • oh so thats how he broke the forth wall

  • I laughed my ass off at this part in the movie haha BWAM!!! LMFAO!!

  • @LipsOfALovelyGirl haha me too!!

  • aw that scene made me sad i was like "he cant kill the rest of the fmily by himself! he needs his other!" then he did this weird rewind thing and i just shut up the rest of the movie

  • @delelta omg u used the best damn sentence to describe it...the movie litterally did shut up..it's sick!

  • so cool ;)

  • They were probably considering doing the scene this way, instead of how they ended up doing it

  • LOL XDDDDDDDDDDDD I LOVE THAT SCENE

  • Can anyone tell me anything about this clip? I don't think it is from the movie becuase in the moie he has his gloves on when he get's shot - and also the set is slightly different.

  • @kingsod there were 2 versions that seemed to be very similar with minor differences. i have yet to see either. A friend told me about it so i had to check out some clips here before i go try to find it at the video store.

  • nice special effects i always wondered how they made ppl getting shot so realistic...

  • duh, it's from a movie :D

  • its from a movie you retards

  • It's for the tournage of the movie "Funny Games"... -,-"

  • noooooo rly smart one?

  • HOLY SHIT

  • Fucking TURBO LULZ @ 'I bet this is fake'

  • I bet this is a fake!!

  • NOOOOO really?

  • @rejuco dumb ass

  • he had no expression on his face

  • is no real

  • no it i s not fake! its the real s**t! they are killing they guy and posting it on youtube!

Of course its fake dumb ass

  • NO ITS REAL

  • LoL.. you a fuckin retard man... of course its fake.... nice one eclectcreveries :)

  • i mean but can some one please teel me what the rewind scene means

  • Its trying to be different to other killer movies to show that in this one this killers win which is unusual in most but with this its trying to show that they will win and its a lesson that horror movies are only watched cos of the killings

  • Combined with the fact that Paul breaks the fourth wall (speaks to the audience) a handful of times, along with being able to control the fate of his friend, shows that he is a self aware character, he can conttol his plot, which means that he is always going to win over the family members, no matter what they do.

  • Do they ever explain how they can rewind time?

  • fatto davvero male.. il ragazzino parte dopo lo sparo.. e si vede ke viene tirato indietro.. lughev!!

  • Heneke is a genius. I adore the message that this film puts out. Even more though, I love the way the US audience reacted to it. Pure genius!

  • it's a great idea, i see where people are coming from with the rewind, and the guys talking to the camera and stuff. but overall this movie was just kind of lame. the whole genius of the director didn't really have an effect on me as i thought the rewind was stupid, i actually had to rewind and make sure i didn't hit the rewind button myself by accident.

  • hahaha. the rewind was SO stupid, but it was awesome anyway. one of those movies that haunts you for days. it's so creepy. yet fascinating.

  • This movie was crap. First of all, after the first 30 minutes or so, it's like the film maker, ran dry on ideas, so he had to draw out the time by making empty slow scenes. Second of all, the story line is nothing but misery. No hope for the doomed family. Who can possibly think that a movie, whose story line and misery is nothing but misery and violence? It's sick and boring. The author should take some pills. He's sick.

  • Deja vu

  • LMAO ahh you got it. Maybe not fully but you got it. The long stretches of time with just misery, it was showing you what most movies don't. What happens after the bad guy murders someone. It's making fun of you. Making fun of those who watch movies to see people die. Making fun of those who watch horror movies for the killing. It's showing you the truth. The "good" guy doesn't always win and it reveals the misery left behind after a killing.

  • when tubby was shot i was so relieved.. and then when he rewinded it i was so sad.. what a movie.. i was genuinely happy that they had gotten some revenge.. brilliant guy that haneke

  • so is this the new or the old movie?

  • tubby! nooooo!

  • If you liked this film , good for you. But now seriously this movie was a waste of time. I expected a little bit more clock work orange or something. The idea is great, but then... Anyways you could make the most disgusting movie, put some french british charme in it and call it a masterpiece, people will seriously believe it ;)

  • it's amazing how we can sit on our couch and watch people kill each other, or torcher each other or have sex with each other and call it entertainment.

  • I know! isn't that great?

  • that's part of the message of the movie lol.

  • dat was cool!!!

  • I loved the movie but I never ever want to see it again.

  • too much?

  • yah i just saw it like an hour ago, when he rewinded it i was liek o.0

  • lol when he gets shot the other guy gets a remote to rewind time to the part where he tells her how hes ganna kill her husband , i didnt really get how that happend but its a movie....

  • I read that the remote control scene was a way to spit on these typical american movies where the good guys are the winners.

This is great i think. It's refreshing to see something else than the perfect plastic vision of american movies with their ''flawless'' endings. ( In my opinion!)

  • you cant always have a positive vision in all movies, it'd suck. it's good to have diversity, but hey, that's just my opinion! no need to bash like a fuckin hysterical teenager!

i just said it was new and rare that america gives us these kind of movies, and the worst part of it is that the movie maker is not even an american...

movie makers of US of A are far from being original.

who gives a fuck of you passing your frustration about a movie you didnt like.. i mean seriously, think about it..

  • Ya, i know you cant always have a positive vision in every fucking movie, but this movie was just horrible! The fact that they talked to the camera and used a remote to rewind the movie was one of the worst ideas for a movie ever!

And how was I "passing my frustration"?? I was simply giving my thoughts about the movie and advising others not to waste their time and money watching it!

This was supposed to be a suspense/horror/thriller movie, and I wasn't even startled once...

  • ok, its ur opinion... whats up with dissing anyone whos sayin the oposite of what you think? that's really childish.

  • How did i ever "diss" you? And on that note, whats wrong with being childish? Maybe i'm a child.

  • this is what i mean bout dissing : ''Thats the point of it being a movie dipshit. ''

wouldnt be dissin at all if you had just removed the ''dipshit'', now you know what dissin is about.

if you're a child, be mature. lmao. no seriously i dont give a fuck if you're a child or an adult...

  • the fact that the main characters actually talked to the camera showed how they acknowledged the audience's presence and saw them as witnesses to these "entertaining games" and other charades they put on...as well as scaring the complete shit out of you...its all part of of heneke's genius

  • But in all honesty i wasn't scared one bit. I was more pissed off at how the mother barely reacted to the murder of her son. I mean, C'mon, I may have liked it if it weren't for so horribly flawed writing and acting. You and I both know a mother in real life would be unable to even think after witnessing the murder of her son..

  • I think you missed Haneke's point entirely.

  • that part scared the living crap out of me! i felt bad for 'tubby'. i wanted the master mind to be the one shot through that damn wall! stupid lady! you shot the wrong preppy dude! ugh!(thank god its just a movie!)

  • she shot tubby cuz tubby is da one who kill her son

  • she shooted the first one at she could point the gun.

  • haha now e know her son dies...

  • i disagree tubby should f died it would of made the movie better but the remote part was gay but i like this movie

  • I see you missed the point of tubby not dying. You want him to die because it makes it fair. It gave you hope. The rewind was there to take that hope away. Just like when the boy in the movie pulled the trigger. He had hope that he could get out of it. And with a simple *click* all hope was gone. With that rewind seen you felt the same thing. Your hope was taken away. It gave you a dose of reality, where the good guy doesn't always win. But Glad you liked it...

  • Yes Bill, but that dose of reality is also impossible. That, for me at least, is the reason i hated it. Rewind? C'mon, thats just lame. Me and my family literally laughed out loud from that point on in the movie. It was just ridiculous.

And I understand what it was meant to accomplish. It just didnt work.

  • No it was giving the audience that moment of relief. That moment of hope. That light at the end of the tunnel. Justice. And the rewind took it away. Took the censors and happy ending and threw it right out the window. Because a happy ending is not life. The rewind was meant to piss you off because it was unfair. Think of the rewind as what every self proclaimed "good" person in the audience wanted to happen. What the mother herself wanted to do. Think of it as something she thought of doing.

  • man, what a brilliant explaination

  • Thanks...

  • is this from the movie or r these jst sum ppl fucking around?

  • i think he was supposed to go through the wall. imagine the injury if you were pulled into a solid wall that fast. the movie cuts to the next shot right before they hit the wall.

  • lmao

  • LooooooL

  • not working :(

  • So cool!!! There you can see how the special effects in the movies work!! Awesome!

  • it was a mistake he wasent suposed to go through the wall

he was just suposed to hit it and fall down

  • I think this was an accident, in the movie (Funny Games) one of the attackers gets shot and is flung in to a wall. In the movie he hits the wall and falls to the ground. This looks like an outtake where something went wrong with the pulley system and instead of just hitting him against the wall he went straight through it. I would love to know the context of this video if anyone knows it.

  • a17 is a moron. the guy flew back and then came back forwards. obviously atached to sumthin

  • You're the moron, A17 was talking about the physics of what a real gun would do. This is a behind the scenes clip and on top of that a blooper. So of course you see the strings and everything. A17 was saying that in this situation, in real life, a gun wouldn't knock someone off their feet like that. They would just fall over.

  • this is from Funny Games the 1997 version i think, i love that movie, you should check out the 2008 version though cuz it's in english

  • its obvi paint

  • that noob got PWNED!!!

  • was that guy real

  • i dont think so... cuz afterwards he hangs like a puppet...but it looks pretty real!

  • Yes he was real but he was a stunt man I think.

  • that is a paint pellet. ive seen stuff like this a bunch they pull him back when he gets hit. why do you think there is a string

  • a slug may do something similar to that... but it wouldnt push him that far.

  • That looked alot like a paint pellet to me. Looks fun lol.

  • actually, shotguns fire a bunch of small pellets, not a bullet. But no, it is not possible for you to fly backward. It does add to the dramma though.

  • no it's a possibility.

as apposed to a bullets, pellets cover a greater surface area and distribute a great amount of force all over the target and they usually dont pass clear through the body so that energy has to be transfered somewhere, so alot of people go about a foot backwards depending on the range.

but yea, i dont see them flying backwards like that.

  • its newtons law or some shit. every action has an equal and opposite reaction. the guy shooting the gun would have to go flying back 10 feet to make the other guy fly back 10 feet.

    or something like that.

but yeah, your not gonna fly back at ALL. i saw it on MYTHBUSTERS! lol

  • a 50 cal can destroy someone's face even if it misses by a foot because of the force, that law does not apply to everything.

  • 3rd Law

  • that's awesome.

  • It must be fun to get arrested for murder!XD

  • Well thats always fun.

  • yeah, im sure its even more fun when you gotta pick up the soap...

  • Is it just me or does that look like a lot of fun?

  • its just u.... NOT!!!!!!!!!

  • in one trailer its shows the wife grab the gun and shot the second golfer

  • SPOILER

It's not real, the wife shoots one of them, then the movie rewinds and we find out that it never really happened.

  • that would suck balls

  • Actually, to spoil it even more, Paul, the first golfer, goes back in time and keeps Ann from shooting him. Sucka.

  • so dose anyone know who is getting shot in the unrated trailer it looks like its one of the neighbors idk comment plz

  • wont load

  • video wouldnt load 4 me

  • Holly crap!! That hecka scared me. I though that real for a few seconds.

  • nice!

  • HAHAHA!!! NO WAY!!! It's Kevin Rogers!!! Nice stunt man! Keep it real.

  • Hey, that;s what they are using to "shoot" the kid in Funny Games right?

  • omg that was cool! but u can still see him swing back and forth in the back at the end.

  • is that real?

  • haha, as real as hollywood gets.

  • lol is that real fool
