Wow. This is so fucking incredible it makes me sad. Ah, there are lots of people who would say they wish they were born in 1970 or something so they could see all this cool shit go down. But hey, I gotta make the best of the time I'm in.
But wow, WOW! I mean, this video is cooler than the SNL appearance. Angelo could sing and play like a motherfucker and he looked amazing doing it. Best performer there ever was, above Michael Jackson and James Brown and all those other people.
How could you get into Suede after this show, Fishbone killed every band on this show, the JAm was brilliant and showed why they are still the best band and will not end.
I cant beleive you found this! The best performance on jools for sure! Angelo Moore is so inspiring! Brings back some memories! Amazing. Thank you so much!
@pure0range I got to meet Angelo in 1993 at a Lolapalooza show. He was walking around with his girlfriend and stopped at a booth. Some kids were asking him to sign "Fishbone" on their clothes. I walked up to him and said "Hey Angelo" he said "My man!" I told him how I saw them on Arsenio in 1991 and how it was an amazing performance. He was so friendly. I love that guy.
I cant beleive you found this! The best performance on jools for sure! Angelo Moore is so inspiring! Brings back some memories! A,azing. Thank you so much!
still touring after all these years, too bad the original line up isn't the same, as it seems their song writing has fallen without the original fishbone. I will still pay to see them play the same songs they've played for years, touring with slightly stoopid this go round again in 2011.
i agree w/ the poop0914-fishbone is alive and well, BUT if the Orignal lineup was to tour again (along w/ John Bingham), they would definitely SELLOUT any theatre they play. Unfortunately, not stadiums or ballparks as it SHOULD BE
It's really unfortunate that over the course of two decades Fishbone went from being this band that was supposed to totally dominate the airwaves and charts.. to having their lead singing be nearly homeless. It is really quite sad. Still one of the most amazing bands to every grace the planet.
FISHBONE MUST REUNITE! THEY ARE THE BADDEST BAND EVER...PERIOD! BETTER THAN EWF & P-FUNK LIVE(EXCEPT FOR THE MOTHERSHIP CONNECTION TOUR) PLEEZ REUNITE!
@poop0914 you are the asshole...If Angelo, Fish, Norwood, Chris, Walt, kendall and John B. get back together and tour it would be advertised and sold out nationwide you sack of crusty balls!
@slikkboi haha sorry bout that first comment. i was wasted but as a fellow fishbone fan i would love that lineup. it wouldnt sell out worldwide nationwide tho haha. fishbone isnt as popular as they should be
Thanks for uploading this, great stuff. I also remember Fishbone going crazy. I think its the start of the show where they all jam together same tempo and in sink but Fishbone go absolutely crazy, Angelo screaming down the mic and the drummer in double time. Hence the slight condescending manner of Jools no sense of humour twat Holland. I also remember afterwards Jools' big band drummer Gilson Lavis, throwing down his sticks and folding his arms in disgust. Hilarious and priceless. Thanks again
I am real sorry Kendall Jones (Fishbones original guitarist) left. He was truly an amazing player, and part of the original lineup. Fishbone is still badass, but give me the original players every time!
I've been dying to see more live footage of Fishbone from this time, just after the release of my favorite album of theirs.
What a shame that Kendall left, though. Imagine what they would have become if the original lineup hadn't changed. They just kept getting better with each album until Kendell left, and then the others.
@mattypark I did the same thing. Great album but not a patch on live. Gutted you don't have the end but at least I get to see this and remind myself of why I was so excited by it.

Angelo always puts ALL his guts on stage... there's quite few performers like him, maybe Carton in France (his spiritual brother).

This may be the second best tv performance ever, after their "Sunless Saturday" massacre on Arsenio in 1991.

John Bogham is there but not Kendall. I guess this was shortly after Kendall's religious nutty flip out.
