@shamitri I am pretty sure he uses Lawton mouthpieces on all his saxophones. I recall seeing a video of him doing a Clinic talking about how great they are.

I've always been rather skeptical about Carter's taste and sophistication, but this particular performance is mesmerising indeed. Obviously, David Murray's presence influenced Carter immensly. I posted another short excerpt with Carter's brilliance from the concert.
