The real issue is (as terrible as this audio sounds): The Director of Photography walked into the scene 2x (completely unacceptable on any set). DP's who do that automatically get fired because they cost the production money. In the middle of a scene it is a lot easier to completely lose your cool if this happens to you more than once. It takes a lot to get engaged in a scene. If that take would have been perfect which I suspect it was...that can cost the actor a good performance in a film.

I bet the director did the same just not recording equipment. Yeah, he's over the top but it's clear someone needs to tell this guy, he just needed to stop after around a minute...

The real issue is (as terrible as this audio sounds): The Director of Photography walked into the scene 2x (completely unacceptable on any set). DP's who do that automatically get fired because they cost the production money. In the middle of a scene it is a lot easier to completely lose your cool if this happens to you more than once. It takes a lot to get engaged in a scene. If that take would have been perfect which I suspect it was...that can cost the actor a good performance in a film.
