Having a bigger biceps doesn't make him stronger, you really underestimate the power of length :/ A tall guy like Yao that knows how to use his full body on court can be incredibly strong..

Lol it means his biceps are stronger. Dwight clearly has stronger legs, thus why he can jump so high and Yao cannot. Plus look at Dwights shoulders, they are HUGE. I mean Yao is strong too, but i definetely dont think hes as strong as dwight.
Yao scores most of his points with solid post moves and a very good shooting touch(especially for a big man), Dwight scores his points with brute strenghth and ridiculous jumping ability.

lol, "stronger" means more than just the ability to jump high. From what I've seen, howard's lower body isn't even that strong. He can't back people down at will...hence his inability to consistently score 30 points like Shaq did.
There are plenty of people with leaping ability who are by no means "strong". Derrick Rose has over a 40 inch vert, Kobe's is around 36, but he's is nowhere close to being stronger than Kobe.

@PhanatixDDH I never said 'stronger' only refers to jumping ability. But leg strength has a direct coorlation to jumping ability. I also never said dwight was stronger than shaq (because he isn't, fairly close though...) I said he is stronger than Yao, which he is by a sizeable amount.
Ya when people are skinny and athletic generally they can jump high, they don't necessarily need to be especially 'strong'.

Shaq never has been stopped by neither Olajuwon nor Duncan. The Magic and the Lakers may have lost the series, but absolutely NO ONE ever stops Shaq. Shaq has always handled his business when it came to his opponents. As far as his teammates go, it hasn't always been that story.

In the 1995 NBA Finals, Shaquille O'neal and the Orlando Magic were swept 4-0 by the Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets. As far as Shaq being on that 2003 WCF loser ass team, he was not there. That was Tim Duncan, Allen Iverson, Jermaine O'neal, Paul Pierce. D-Wade, Melo, and Lebron were on that team too but those three were rookies. Anyway, point is Shaq was not on that team full of losers.

i agree that his prime essentially ended in 2002..but i think it began around..1996 or 1997..because even before they won the title in LA, he was still the most dominant big man in the league..but he was all they had..once Kobe got better and they got some other pieces they finally won..but he was dominant even before the title run
