If they act the way these cops did with this small woman, they would lose their jobs and most likely their professional license. I've seen five trained female nurses take down and restrain a large man with his fists up, who had just punched one of them in the head, without putting a mark on him. These 2 officers got their jobs back.they were found not guilty. I also believe they were paid while suspended, not positive on that though. There have been several lawsuits from this jail with large monetary payouts.

This kind of violence is somewhat routine. It only gained publicity because it was caught on camera. I've seen violence of this type from my days on a rescue squad in the same area as these officers live. If there's no proof they don't care. Such violence was done right before my eyes and nothing was ever done about it - such as taking a patient who's been hogtied and tossing him down a road embankment. This happened and the officer retired with pension a few years later.

These are NOT cops they are corrections officers. BIG DIFFERENCE they are employed by the Tazewell County Sheriff's office just like a secretary. Their union however pulled their asses out of the fire on this case. They still have jobs. How do I know you ask? I live in Tazewell county and have friends that work in the jail, they wanted these guys hung out to dry like everyone else.

This shit goes on all the time in jails. Believe me, I know. As you can see, the major issue is corrections officers as well as cops are not held accountable for what they do. Clearly, the same law that we follow does not apply to them. She was "combative" and trying to "escape". That's what they always say. People should start watching shows about jail on tv and you will get a good jist of how corrupt our justice system really is.

Nurses in psychiatric hospitals often have to subdue and restrain violent patients without hurting them, and they do. If they act the way these cops did with this small woman, they would lose their jobs and most likely their professional license. I've seen five trained female nurses take down and restrain a large man with his fists up, who had just punched one of them in the head, without putting a mark on him. Cops like this are shit stains on society that need to be wiped up.

These 2 officers got their jobs back.they were found not guilty. I also believe they were paid while suspended, not positive on that though. There have been several lawsuits from this jail with large monetary payouts.
It also can't be very good for these officers when their own boss doesn't back them up.

This kind of violence is somewhat routine. It only gained publicity because it was caught on camera. I've seen violence of this type from my days on a rescue squad in the same area as these officers live. If there's no proof they don't care. Such violence was done right before my eyes and nothing was ever done about it - such as taking a patient who's been hogtied and tossing him down a road embankment. This happened and the officer retired with pension a few years later.
