I'd like to know which DVD this is from so I can buy it. I agree with Carlin on 98% of his rant, but he does push credibility a tad. Most of us KNOW that we are being fucked, and have the critical skills to understand that. Who doesn't already know that 2% of the population controls 95% of the wealth? Towards the end...I think George felt that opening peoples eyes to the TRUTH might not be as "funny" as reality - but a good dose of REALITY was more needed than simply humour.The one thing I will say for George? - he was an observer of life, and a champion for truth, humanity, and freedom - who used comedy as a vehical whenever he could - to
show us all that yes, life CAN be funny...but when life sucks...there really IS a reason..and the men behind the veil are the cause - not bad luck.

Everyone says george didnt care and he said it himself. But he spent his life pointing out our mindless obsessions and ingorant behaviors. He cared, but its up to us to listen. And, and if he didnt care, he did more for us with his material than any man ive ever seen that said he loves this country.
Its not about you or I, its about us. And to me he cared enough to tell us. Almost all of his best stuff refers to everyday things that we all DO and we all laughed just as hard....WHY?

i just dont believe that there is a conspiracy amongst the wealthy to deprive people of better education. i think money is spent in the wrong places and those who benefit from education dont give back, so it is an inefficient cycle that leaks money and doesnt compensate enough to attract better teachers.

I think he gives a highly accurate description of the social algorithm of the crowd that is on its way out. We'll see a new crowd coming in. I wouldn't expect a big burden placed on the champions of industry any more than the working person will see an increase in tax because a Democrat got elected.
