  • nice one Nick, the perfect review !! I have a casio wk7500 on 60 day trial and intend trying this one simultaneously. At twice the price this review almost persuades me. I would like to know exactly what the 256 performances do, and how they differ from built in backing setups, arpegiators etc. Also are the drum sets interactive. cheers.

  • Got this a week ago...is ther any pedal which can help me to change patches while performing live wid this...?

  • hey men how i can do to sound like this.. i got the Mo6 but when i connect the plug to my pc i got a poor quality sound and i dont know how to make this sound better... i'm new on this keyboard and i really apreciate your help....

PD:Sorry for my english i'm learning this too..

  • I still dont see a real reason to trade in my MO6 for this!

  • Thank you for demonstrated some of the drum kits....other reviews were more focused on the piano sounds....wanted to see how this board would work for hip hop production...perhaps a video on editing the drum sounds would be great....I plan on using it with a korg electribe sampler.

  • Does anyone know the song at 1:41 to 1:46 (Solo Percussion AF2)?

  • Great review!

  • This must be the best keyboard review I have ever watched cuz you go thru every sound not only piano and organs as the rest of the reviewers.

  • can someone help me programme a really usable brass sound for live performance on the mox6. cheers

  • Voice look like yamaha s910!

  • On every yamaha mox video I watch it's alot piano, strings etc.. I'm more into techno, trance, electronic type of music.. how does the MOX handle that kind of music? Also I'd love a video that goes indepth in pattern creation or type of programming, so far you're the one who got closest to that

  • is there much to compare between yamaha mox8 and korg m50?

  • Hi and thanks for a great revue!

Have you had any chance to compare the sonic quality to Motif XS/XF?

    Best regards

    Hans

  • sonic the vids are great I would like to hear the DRUM SOUNDS can you do a video on those I'm on the verge of buying one...please......thak you.

  • I wish I had the $ for this. Motif XS sounds for a MO price! You can't beat it. And it weighs only 32 lbs which when you think about it, is like the size of a motif 61 key, I really want this!!

  • Do you think the organs sound good? B3 sounds?

  • What I listened to was just amazing, I'd never expect a keyboard like this which is actually less expensive than the mid-level PSRs can sound so well. The most interesting bit about it is that SonicState only scratched the surface, there's certainly much more to be found under it's hood.

  • Sonicstate does the best & most honest reviews on YouTube

Not only are they a joy to watch but very educational too

It's great hearing & seeing someone in action who actually understands sound

    Great work!

  • Is there super articulation voices in this?

  • 3:36. yum.

  • How many drum-kits does it have? thx

  • @beable4this 64

  • As always, an extremely satisfying and useful review. PLEASE keep doing them. :)

    Unsolicited opinion ahead:

This does look like a nice all-in-one keyboard. ...I miss my old Yamaha EX5, and some patches here remind. ...That said, I did actually think the electronic offerings were relatively weak (compared to, say, Omnisphere, for a similar sampling-based VA feel). But if one were after a more orchestral and classical piano/EP feel, this strikes me as a potentially nice package.

  • it can do saxes, but I cant play them very authentically

  • @sonicstate , the xs and MOX have the best saxes I have heard on any keyboards

  • the sounds are great....probably the best value pro keyboard right now

  • 3:33 I kept waiting for that eerie sax solo from bladerunner to come in

  • I'm almost certainly never going to buy this, but I just love watching all of the reviews and sounds here :)

  • i....want.....one.....

  • If there is one thing that Yamaha have always been good at, it is their sweeping pads.

  • Very helpful, Thank you. :-)

    peace,

    Tim
