@xRainbowDashh no, but you can't touch them for 2 days. my corn snake is WAY bigger than that, I give it conked mice( put alive mice in a bag and hit it on tile hard) you should put the mouse in then the snake, if the mouse is conked then move it around with a stick or somethin
@LeoTheLeopardGecko I want to get a corn snake to i live in england and they are only £45 for a kit with baby corn, tank, hide, heat source, water dish, substrate i dont know anything about the prices in the US but it cant cost that much more than that.
whats the cheapest type of corn snake? can someone please answer because i wanna get one but my mom wont let me buy any animal over $100 but i still want to know how much that albino corn snake cost? Can someone tell me?
@LeoTheLeopardGecko1 they would definitely cost less than that. i got mine for free, but I knew some ppl, but i'm pretty sure at the pet store they ended up costng about $60-$80 max.
@waterdragon206 albino wont make the size any different.but corn snakes very depending on how well they are taken care of.a well taken care of corn snake can live quite a while.but don't plan on getting one if your not ready to have him for a while..
umm im not kidding about this i just bought a baby corn snake he was feed before i bought him at petsmart but when we came home and put him in his cage he for real threw up a mouses penis and testes can someone answer if he just didnt like the penis and please thumbs up so i gey an answer please
Yes! Make sure it's a good feeder! When I first got mine he was tiny, and didn't eat for 3 weeks, when they told me he normally ate a pinkie every week. Once he started eating he was fine, but that was very stressful since that's the first snake I've ever owned.
i like to buy the snakes that are in bad shape, i like to rescue these reptiles not get the good when and leave them to suffer more in the shops that clearly just care about money.
badboyazza2009 mine does that to but she tryes to bite me when i try to touch her she is still a baby and i just got her she is beiutatful (sorry about the spelling :( )
Once a male and female corn snake are of proper age (say 2-3 years at the minimum) and a good size, (at least 63 inches) you can put the two together with a nice warm moist environment and let them do their thing.... Just be sure to have a separate tote for the female to put her eggs in.
i am considering getting a cornsnake. i never had a snake before and am not sure how much work to put into it. i own tow dogs three chickens a horse and two cats. i also had a turtle and three frogs. I always wanted a snake and I def. want to know your opinion. thank you.
@kconte009 corn snakes dont bite if you do get bit it feels like sandpaper teeth it startles you tho i got a corn snake named tango you can feed them live mice but i kill the mice first it can risk the chance of your corn getting bit then it gets sick and might die let them cral on you play with them evrey day they eat feeder mice pups hoppers or frozen fist born mice i put asprin down for bedding buy a 20 gallon tank or if smaller a 10 gallon tank i used a 20 gallon more room corns are great
A male snake, like all male reps, can pick up on a woman's menstruation, and can get aggressive. It's not proven why, if they're hungry or (sorry ladies) horney. I've been working with a variety of reptiles for 35 years, and have actually seen this happen - and heard of it from others and read of it occuring. Short answer - if you have a fertile lady like I do, get a female snake! But, who's going to sex it for you? Hope they're careful and experienced as you can hurt the snake w/a probe.
Explaining what I wrote below better. Snakes are carnivorous and the smell of blood can make male reptiles act up. Ratsnakes are the SAME species as cornsnakes only ratsnakes are indigenous to eastern and central US and cornsnakes are western and central. As weird as this sounds, I've read of it, heard of it and experienced it with live-in girlfriends. In other words, whenever Mr. Snakey-Poo is being a creep, chances are that your lady will be, too. Ha-ha!
If it was tiny, that's quite possible. How large was the snake? Is there a possibility that the snake got out of the dwelling? Are you actually in the city or the outskirts of London? Write back to me on my channel and we'll try to figure this out. I lost a tiny cornsnake in my home, and also a seven-foot Burmese python - but luckly I found both of them a few months afterwards - and they were BOTH larger - "MICE" - as I keep records of length, weight, etc. Merry Christmas!.
I know my snake enjoys coming out by her reactions towards me... when I walk by her tank, she often gets excited and goes back and forth. I let her out, an she climbs all over my hands, and doesn't want to go back in her tank.
she probs aint used to being handled yet i. i got my beardies like 3 or 4 weeks ago 1 likes being held the other still aint v sure. my corn snake is 9 years old when i got ehr she was timid aswell now she likes being held.hope i helped
i just got a baby corn snake about a week ago and Ive handled it everyday since i got her, but she still seems afraid of me every time i go near her. will she be like this forever?
No, eventually she will get used to you. Besides, young snakes are very uppity and alert and they do that for a long time - it's not a problem, it's just the way juniors are.

Do not get a queen snake they are a water snake and require alot of attention and also they eat mostly an exclusive diet of freshly molted crayfish and most will not eat in captivity. I have seen them in captivity in a tank and they do not do well at all. I think that they would do good in an area that has hundreds of gallons of water and ample sandy substrate but only in a zoo where the food can be ordered in quantity from a dealer. A corn or a small python are good beginner snakes if legal. :)
i got my corn snake yesterday when i go to pick him out he strikes me and i paniced and knocked the viv and he jumped and slithered off to a corner. ive left him there should i worry about him biting me?
