I know how that's done... I've been in surgery with a proffesional vet and his patient, and you know, docking the dog's ears is like us getting a tattoo... you know what I mean.

Whether or not it hurts them wasn't a concern, although I think it must hurt them otherwise 90% of the world wouldn't ban it. I just think they are so much cuter with their ears intact. Boxers with their ears docked just aren't as cute.

I never even knew ears could get docked (though it has zero appeal to me.)

Mind you I wouldn't say it's like us getting a tattoo. We choose that, dogs don't really get the choice on the whole docking thing.

what a beautiful happy baby you have! It makes me so happy to see his ears are not cropped. Thats one of the most traumatic things you can put a dog, you are supposed to love, through. We have 8 boxers and watching Oscar reminds me of every one of them! keep the videos coming!
