I have the same camera, and I didn't know that I could make a vodeo like this... AWSOME!!!, I'll start filming on HD right now, I thought it would be a waste of tape but it's really worth it.

By the way, do you work on video editing?

@yosoynick I use Adobe Premiere CS3 for video editing. It's not my job just a hobby i have. The camera is amazing for a consumer camera. The image is really sharp and clear. It's even better on a HDTV then on YouTube (in therms of quality and picture), because of the conversion.

Did you have a hard time getting it to be this quality on youtube?

Because I notice most of the other test videos of this camera are not HD at all.

I edited it in Adobe Premiere CS3 and used some export settings to get HD which i found on the internet. The resolution is 1280x720, Bitrate about 8 (i think), it is a quicktime movie file enoced with h.264 codec. It's very easy to get HD with Premiere. All my HD videos are done with that programe. I even exported my latest video (Maltese Diaries 9) in 1080 HD.

You didn't have to convert the videos at all once you got them onto your computer?

Just straight from the camera to your computer, and then premiere?

Yes. Staright from the camera to PC. I only converted the file for YouTube.
