I used to go for metal sounds in the 80's but then the hair bands emerged and I saw Spinal Tap, so I retired my red plastic pants and white stretchy hair and started playing the keyboards more. Then I learned more theory and just settle for anything musical now.

on a totally different note.... I looked up the Murder Junkies on a punk rock site that had a clip of a 2004 show.... and damn.... They sound even better now than they did back in the day... I am going to have to catch a show next year.. anyone who is a fan, check it out.. I unplugged for too long I guess, but I was floored.. Merle is one helluva bassist and the rest of the band is pretty tight. at least they were for that show. I think it was louisville 04'

Well, before I go on.. You should understand that I put a lot more thought into things than your normal person.. and I can see that GG fought demons, but never acted on them.. He spoke WARNING parents that there are peopel out there who weren't STRONG enough to fight them.. Those missing kids are gone because evil gives no warning like GG did.. Parents be warned, your kids will see bad things at my show, and all they did was judge him.. GG spoke of strength, exposure, and individualism. I agree

I don't think anything after 1979 or so even counts as Country, does it? I think that some "rock" of the early 70's was more Country than today's "Country" even. The Allman Bros. were more country than say Shania Twain.

Hitler was an artist too - but a shitty one, and he's dead too last I checked. Van Gogh was an artist too, but I never thought his work was nearly as good as when he cut his ear off - I guess that was the art end of it. Dude - You can't convince me that GG Allin's work was stellar anymore than I could convince you that the 1910 Fruitgum Company was some of the best music of the late 60s.

Nothing wrong with talking bad or good about the bad or the living. Yes - I am a yank , and proud of it. I've seen some of Allin's "art" too, and if you are a father, I would think you would find it slightly disturbing. I speak specifically of the missing milk carton kids with pics of ejaculating penises superimposed over them. You can call that art if you want - I realize that if you put a frame around anything you get to do that, but still - I have my limits, man.

Those pictures are 100% pencil, and I don't work with real drummers - that is true, but all the instruments were me, pal. If you were any kind of musician you would realize what a pain in the ass drummers are, and if you were an artist you would recognize a fucking drawing. Stop while you're in the sewer.
