@Ninchiboy wii is able to create good games/graphics, its not the wii its selfs fault its the develpers choice to make good graphics ... look at monster hunter tri on the wii, the conduit 1 and 2, prince of persia, tatsunoko vs capcom(can compare to street fighter 4 anyday), mortal combat armagedon,zelda-skyword sword and twlight princess, resident evil 4, madworld(must see), metroid other m, no more heroes 2, super mario galaxy2(got a frikin perfect score),okami, ssb brawl

Is there more gore in the game than in this preview because i noticed it's a 16 however there's not much gore in as far as i've seen. Graphics look great for a Wii game btw, and for those who don't have a Wii just don't bother criticising Wii because you really need to experience it first.

i mean yes graphics DO make the game look friggin amazing, but when FF or Doom came out, did we have badass graphics back then? sure maybe at the time, but then you look back on it and realize, the graphics didnt really matter, it was the gameplay that made it amazing, along with a bunch of stuff but you all get what i mean

anyways red steel 2 really looks like a big successful step up from the first one

@samwas123 because i liked the shooting in the red steel 1 but the sword fighting was just over the top like my hand would kill after a sword fight which i understand is the point but there was no way to just have a realistic sword fight and it not hurt your hand which then i wouldn't mind but i doubt there is way to stop the sword fights from killing your hand from slashing and other sword moves

RS2 looks like an easy contender for GOTY on any platform. Old school pattern based brawler game play, to the nostalgic way that the enemy bodies blink on the ground after defeat. Anyone who has played Double Dragon, Final Fight or any of the great brawlers from the 80's and 90's should recognize that blinking pattern.

There just looks to be so much love put into the creation of this game for the people that miss games like this. Props to the developer.

From what I've heard, the developers are trying to go for a T rating. Not sure if you're from the US and know about the ESRB rating system, but thats for teenagers. They don't want it to be too violent, bloody, or gory, so they bodies just dissappear. I assume they're also trying to go for a lower rating in countries were the rating system is more strict, which would be another reason why the bodies dissappear. It's a good thing too, because mature rated games don't sell too well on the Wii.

It looks better than the first one. Then again, it doesn't look as good as I was expecting the first one to be. I think it's safe to say we'll have to wait at least until the next hardware generation for a real sword fighting game. Modern consoles just aren't powerful enough yet.
