I had my tragus done about 6 yrs ago, for me it was just a sting. Thinking of doing the anti tragus and a forward helix at the same time. Not on both ears. If the tragus was just a sting what would you opinion be. Thanks

Got my right anti-tragus done today (I had the left one done last year) and yes it hurts while its going through but soon stops hurting and just aches instead. However it is a long healing process. My left one took around five months so I am expecting the same for my right one. However I think its a cool looking piercing so it was worth the pain...twice.

@earthgrl9797 Stop asking poeple on youtube. Ive sen your post everywhere. Go to a REPUTABLE, PROFFESSIONAL peircer, and ask them to check it out, or go to your doctor.

I have my rook pierced (and i noticed she does too) and I felt like my ear was being ripped off. Would you ask your friend which was worse: the rook or the anti-tragus. Because I really really want to get the at.
This is exactly what she said, "they felt like two completely different pains but to me it hurt the same while getting pierced. Afterwards is so different though. The rook healed really fast and the antitragus takes 6 months to heal and it was hurt more than the rook after."
@DancingFool710 Oh ok, well my rook is having trouble healing, so is my best friends (we got it done together). We got it done a few days before new years, and they're still pretty painful to the touch and stuff. Hm..I'm still deciding if it's worth it. I mean, I can always wait a while until the rook is done healing. But thanks for asking!
ahhhh.. right.. i want another piercing. i have my tregus done and i LOVE it, i want another one.. was thinking my conch but i dunno looks painful. :L i was also thinking tongue but i've been put off,, and then come the anti tregus, does it just feel the same as a tregus becasue i didnt really feel my tregus peircing lol so yeah please replyyyyy xx
My friend that got her anti-tragus in this video said that this was definitely more painful than the tragus. I can see why though, because there is just a lot more cartilage for the earring to go through, and it takes longer for cartilage to heal because there is less blood flow which would aid in the healing. So, it'd be soar for longer. ..I hope that answers your question alright. :-)
If you think that getting the tragus hurt, then getting the anti tragus will KILL! lol. but really, it's supposed to hurt a lot more because there's a lot more tissue in that area of the ear.

well, it depends on that person on how his/her limit of pain.Like mine, i pierced my cartilage, which earlier my friend told me that it hurt like crazy, but once i pierced mine, it did hurt but not the way she said it to be.You just have to make sure you care the pierced in proper way and clean it to prevent infection. Prevent yourself from touching it frequently and do not put force on the pierced spot too much or it will bleed.
anti-tragus hurt like a bitch, definitely the worst pain i've had from a piercing. Also, it takes a long time to heal, so keep that in mind before getting it. I really like it though, because it isn't very common.

I got this the other day...I did it myself with a 20GA needle, then I couldn't find the exit hole for my earring so I just SHOVED it through lol...THEN I had to go get a horseshoe barbell for it so I could move it around and medicate it and the smallest they had was a 14GA and I just had to SHOVE that through..doesn't hurt til LATER!! lol

i have my anti tragus pierced and its swollen and hard when you pinch it. is it normal just like scar tissue? and recommendations what to do?

anti-tragus hurt like a bitch, definitely the worst pain i've had from a piercing. Also, it takes a long time to heal, so keep that in mind before getting it. I really like it though, because it isn't very common.

the tragus is thick but doesn't have many nerve endings; mine barely hurt. the anti-tragus is supposed to hurt really badly though.
