they want to bring them from their country and prosecute them in the united states for something they did in canada.  one example is a man who owned a seed company sent seeds to the us and they i believe extradited him to the us to face charges for it. canada is it's own nation and the us laws should not apply to canada's citizens. that's what this is all about. the dea is pressuring the canadian government to turn them over.

@form24us: the issue isn't whether he committed a crime, it's whether he should be extradited, and again, the answer would have to be yes. canada has signed 4 separate extradition treaties with the US, and so are bound by law to send anyone convicted of committing a cross-border crime that is bound by the treaty.

it's bad what's happening to marc, but he martyred himself. don't act as if there's really no legal way he should be treated as such.

I've spoken with Marc on a handful of occasions over the phone, but I've never had the oppurtunity to make my way to British Columbia. There are people in the US waking up to the tyranny that is being brought upon not only themselves, but to other countries. Canada must fight for their sovereignty, and I am prepared to fight for that cause in the US now and in Canada, once my citizenship is put to paper.
