2:228: it means a women who is divorced and she wants to get married again she should wait 3 month before she could marry again and this wait is because to see if she is pregnant before she was separated from her 1st husband and if she wants to go back to her 1st husband then husband should take them back. And all the four imams regarded music as TOTALLY HARAM!

@suchalriaz There are a lot of things that were allowed in the time of Prophet David A.S., Prophet Musa A.S. etc. which are forbidden now. The shari' of those times is already cancelled. We are not supposed to follow the rules in the time of Prophet David A.S. We only have to follow Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In the time of Prophet David A.S. , bani israel were prohibited from fishing on Saturdays. But now we are not because now we follow Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h).
