this is such a good idea :) i just wish it was more than once a month ... i'd like to see some tutorials with some covergirl stuff, (shadows, foundation and such) i use covergirl alot lol... also N.Y.C alot of ppl use it because its so inexpensive but the products are good, you'd need a lip primer for the lipsticks though. or naturally butter smooth lips. lol

As for a base, the elf eyeshadow base works very well, and its like $1 so its super affordable. Also, try out Hard Candy products that are sold exclusively at Walmart. I love using the baked Kal-eye-descope Baked eyeshadow duos. What I love about them is that the duos have a lighter color and a darker color, so its great for a simple eye using the lighter shade on the lid or as a highlight and the darker color in the crease and under the lower lashline. The sheen of these shadows is great!

This is a great idea! & my current drugstore product right now is the Maybelline 24 hrs color tattoo! And holy Molly those are beyond amazing they are cream eyeshadows and they don't crease and to remove them I have to use makeup remover bc I like to just wash my face with water first and then use the makeup remover(weird I know) but with this I couldn't do that! It's like if they were waterproof!!

Also, as shocking as it is the L.A. Colors palettes are decent, not the best but definitely not the worst. Covergirl has some ok shadows but it's really hit or miss with their stuff. You have to look to find a good color so I quit buying their stuff all together.

I requested this video so thanks. As for drug store make-up, I have tried almost all of it. The Wet n Wild eye shadow is by far the best. I have the trio's in: I'm Getting Sunburned, I'm Feeling Retro, Sweet As Candy, Don't Steal My Thunder, Knock On Wood, Walking on Eggshells, Cool As A Cucumber, and I Dream of Greenie. They all have great color pay off. DO NOT buy any Rimmel shadow, it's straight up crap. They are dry and not pigmented at all. Are you wanting recommendations for just shadow?

i think that the wet n wild palettes are the best out there drugstore wise. the l'oreal infallible pressed pigments are also amazing. maybelline also just came out with cream shadows called 'color tattoo' and they are amazing! i wouldn't really trust their regular eyeshadows though.

GREAT idea on the monthly drugstore hauls! I use both drugstore & high end makeup, but I must say that I reallyy recomend Sally Hansen products. Being a nurse & on the run all day, the makeup does last for over 12 hrs on me. The eye primer is in a pot, and I use it daily for work instead of using my Urban Decay primer, b/c I run out quick & it can get expensive. Also the illuminating face primer by Sally Hansen prior to foundation is excellant, and Sally Hansen "naturals" eye liner stays on all

If you can, i would love to see you use the Revlon Colorstay 12 hour eye shadow quad in Silver Fox. I have it and i just don't know how to use it. i bought it for the purple shadow that's in it but i would love to use the colors too but the aqua color is kind of intimidating. i also love the Nude Elements quad from the same line but it's very similar to the colors you used in this video.

i love the hard candy shadows with the 2 colors in them, the baked ones. there like 6 bucks and i love them. Also elf shadows are great for the price. There not the BEST shadows but when you pay 1 dollar for fairly good shadows in not going to complain. The butternut is my fav and it has a wood winked dupe in it!

The Maybelline Natural Smokes quad is amazing, as well as ALL Wet n Wild shadows. Their Walking on Eggshells palette is amazing and has a Stila Kitten dupe in it :)
