Great music. Nice video. I went to Spain in a Comet - 1970 :) - funny how they had their engines in their wings. Just noticed for the first time they aren't in line with the main fuselage(?). Like the out-takes. :)
What a plane and what a piece of music. My dad was on 51sqd captaining nimrods for many years, still his favourtite plane and favourite piece of music. Elgar one of the greatest british composers, PUT HIM BACK ON THE £20 NOTE!!!
Cool stuff. Was lucky enough to get a flight in a real one once, on a training ex. The ONLY time in my life I've ever felt motion sickness - the things they do with those things should be impossible.
Now if you started to read this don't stop because it's scary! ok send this to 5 other videos in 143 min. when you're done press F6 and your crushes names will appear on the screen in big letters. this is weird because it works. If you break this you won't have a date for 5 years
Thank you for this. For my last concert I will be conducting the Enigma Variations on May 5 with the Las Vegas Philharmonic. My son Christopher, a Naval Aviator who now pilots the Boeing 737 worldwide, will come from Florida to be in the audience. I will send him this video as a preview of what he'll hear that evening. You obviously understand the Nimrod connection with the Beethoven slow movement that you use for the out takes. Congratulations.
Thank you for your kind comments, It would be fantastic if i could actually fly over to Las Vegas and be in the audience to see and hear the Enigman Variations. 20 years ago I attended the London College of Music under Dr Lloyd Webber - father to Andrew and Julien and studied piano, conducting and composing. I then changed course and went into Hotel Management and then business.... but my loves are music and flying.
Adam, your comment doesnt even make sense let alone be some sort of insult. It seems your the jelous one as you can't work out crosswind approaches or landings. At least lego tries to fly professionally unlike your episode around Princess Juliana in the PMDG 737.
Good Video however you need to practice those landings Lego. Try not to use the rudder to gain a centre line approach, its not designed for this. When even in strong winds try to establish a crabbing approach then use the rudder to gain bring the aircraft centreline around 5-10ft. Keep it up. Josh
Thats not aberdeen airport, the control tower isn't the same and u cant see aberdeen city in the background, shame about the landing though

By the way to those that said learn how to land, the wind settings were 250 from the west, so full wind shear
