Yea right, 32 year career singing in the shower.Or maybe you could share some of your performances that you have done on stage, or your recordings, or maybe a live schnitt from a performance that you have done at one of the better known opera houses in the world. I am sure all of us on You Tube would be interested to hear you. In regards to my pedestal,and ego..that has nothing to do with my joy of listening to music on You Tube, I just cannot stand the amateur GRANDSTANDERS and their comments.

This is a nice voice but he seems to have developed a habit of skipping consonants, or glossing over them and so goes from one vowel to the next without pronouncing the consonant in between. There are also a few of his own variations to the music here, which were not in the score.

@MrAndredekock You're right...however it is obvious that you certainly are limited in what you know about the voice and the production of a beautiful line in the voice. Try listening to Joan Sutherland...that is a real lesson in diction and variation on what was written on the page and she was one of the greatest DIVAS of our time. Oh yes, a criticism, even if constructive must come from a source that knows what it is talking about and obviously you do not.

@Walter1950 The limitations I fear are ONLY in your head! I am a retired baritone having had a 32 year career and I now teach singing for the joy of it. I wasn't speaking about diction per se at all, neither was I speaking about the coloratura soprano's license to sing a cadenza not written in the score. Get off your mighty pedestal where you have blown up and inflated your own ego and go somewhere else to listen to music if you don't like hearing criticism. I have sung for 40 years.
