  • Great video. I love these Philips. Do you know where headshells for the 312 can be found?. Ebay is useless for now.

  • A great table, but boy are they picky about what bulbs you put behind the light up buttons. Back when mine burnt out the internet was not an option for finding parts, so it became a bit of a challenge. Also, the power switches were never suited properly for American current and would tend to get a little hotter than normal, then the plastic would get brittle and it would not stay on. Today you can get these parts easily including a replacement switch.

  • I had that turntable. I got it at Tech Hi Fi in 1976. I loved the touch-sensitive controls that lit up. It was really sensitive to floor vibrations (it skipped easily) so I went back to Duals. Seems like yesterday...

Actually if you reinstall the screws which lock the suspension in place it will work better if you have a problem with a springy floor, although you don't get the isolation you'd get with it floating. I mounted a shelf to the wall I stuck mine on that and it cleared the problem up.

  • Sweet Turntable and I dig the choice of music.
