At this stage, in this country, it is the pro-gay crowd that persecutes any and all that disagree with them. People are called names, laws are passed prohibiting free speech and religious expression, and the pro-gay ideas are even taught to school children in GRADE school. That isn't tolerance. Lawsuits against churches and businesses that do not want to participate in gay weddings isn't tolerance.

Not all the "pro-gay crowd" is litigious or combative though it is their right to do and be so. I believe that part of the problem in these days is the tendancy to group people by stereotype. Not all gay people are activists and not all Christian people are persecuting zealots. We need to communicate respectfully with each other as individuals.

I prefer to live the example of Jesus in tolerance and brotherly (and sisterly) love.
