This phone is simple, cheap, good looking and minimalistic. Camera is great for taking casual pics. Buttons are well placed and feels comfortable!

and btw... I wish I had a Russian accent, its so freaking cool :)

phone was ok but it's main drawbacks are:

- durability sucks. ive dropped it a few times and it now doesnt work

- every so often it would refresh VERY SLOW eg. at the menu display, if you pressed down, the cursor would sometimes take up to 5 seconds to respond

im keeping it empty so it is about 110 mb. load all your files to memcard so it wont lag.. i think...

i have this phone in black on 3. overall its a pretty awsome phone but i have had some problems; for some reason every so often i wouldnt get any signal at all and my phone would freeze constantly and also it would say i cant charge the phone because i need a sony ericsson battery even thought that was the battery i got at perchase. this all happend on the same day. i have got the phone replaced twice already, this is my third and so far so good [=

maybe you should try to turn off the 3G network? I heard its turned on by default, and that's why some SE phone with 3G are buggy. settings-connection-mobile networks-GSM/3G network-> GSM only.

Is there a way to make it so that the camera doesn't automatically turn itself on when the cover is slid down? Like what if it accidentally slides open in my pocket? Will it eventually time itself out? Or will it stay on and the battery will drain super fast? Someone please answer.

it can't slide open by itself in your pocket . I don't own it, but I was testing it in store. this cover is well made. (unlike k750i which always opens in my pocket, and then camera deactivates after several minutes)

Hey, i got the back off in the end hehe. I cant help much though as i used this rubber thing but i dont know what it is called lmao. Basically, you know those like circular rubber things which you use to open the lid off bottles or jars...? well i used that as the grip was good and it worked hehe. Sorry cant really help any more than that lol ;p

If the camera is the only aspect you're caring for, 5Mp>3Mp, duuh. If you don't mind the bulkiness of the K850, keep it.
